Luo Li led the Imperial Dou Team through Winter City, where Qian Renxue joined their journey and the team defeated Shrek in a brutal arena match. After Luo Li crippled Tang Hao and drove him off, he continued toward the Northern Border, where Ning Rongrong arrived with a proposal for reform.

• Ning Rongrong left Heaven Dou Royal Academy to find Luo Li, who returned to his fief in Winter City and welcomed the Imperial Dou Team to train at its Great Soul Arena.
• Qian Renxue abandoned her Xue Qinghe identity and joined Luo Li’s carriage under the pretense of needing help, while Luo Li advised Dugu Yan to build a Poison Path that did not rely solely on poison.
• Qian Renxue revealed her Soul Emperor strength in the match against Shrek, badly wounding Ma Hongjun and Xiao Wu before defeating Tang San and the rest of the team.
• When Flender, Yu Xiaogang, and the Shrek teachers challenged Qian Renxue, Luo Li intervened, defeated them, and killed Shao Xin and several teachers with his Sword Domain.

Luo Li drew academies and powerful allies into the Northern Border while building a close relationship with Qian Renxue. When raiders threatened its trade routes, he led an army into the Western Mountains, defeated the Clear Sky Sect’s Third Elder, and ordered the remaining Star Luo forces killed.

• Ning Rongrong brought the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s cooperation to Luo Li, who accepted, then met Shui Bing’er and the Skywater Team and agreed to visit their academy.
• Shui Rou’er agreed to bring Skywater Academy into the Northern Border, and Luo Li later merged it with Blazing Fire Academy as Frost Rime Academy.
