White clouds drifted across the azure sky, and a small wooden boat floated on the calm, blue sea.
Luffy sat at the bow of the boat, while Zoro leaned against the railing.
"We still need to find a navigator,"
Lina lay on the deck, gazing idly at the sky, and said softly.
Luffy blinked at the words, "What's a navigator?"
Zoro: "..."
"A navigator is someone who guides the way," Lina explained to Luffy.
"It's dangerous to encounter bad weather at sea; we need someone who understands navigation..."
This was a serious matter. The unpredictable climate and ocean currents of the Grand Line were treacherous.
Even in the East Blue, getting caught in a large storm was a death sentence.
Even someone as powerful as Shiki couldn't stop the might of nature.
After a while, they suddenly heard shouts from a distance.
Speak of the devil.
Following the sound, they saw a small boat approaching them. On deck, a girl with orange hair was desperately rowing.
She was being pursued by a pirate ship flying the Black Cat flag.
The pirate ship had a giant black cat's head at its prow. Several pirates stood on deck, shouting angrily at the small boat ahead.
"Bastards! How dare you steal our treasure!"
"Chase her down!"
The person being chased was Nami. After stealing the navigation chart from Buggy, she had encountered the Black Cat Pirates at sea.
As a pirate thief, Nami couldn't resist sneaking onto the ship to steal some treasure.
Just as she was about to escape, she was accidentally discovered.
"Why is someone walking backward, damn it!" Nami let out a roar of frustration.
She had almost gotten away. She had hidden in a corner, waiting for someone to pass so she could sneak off the ship from behind them.
But the person turned out to be walking backward!
Nami, rushing out from the corner, collided directly with them.
On the pirate ship, Jango heard Nami's roar and said smugly, "That's my dance! Have I completely conquered you?"
"Conquer my foot!" Nami rowed her boat frantically.
Suddenly, she saw a small boat ahead and her heart leaped with joy. She immediately shouted towards it, "Help!"
Asking for help? No, she was primarily employing a tactic of "drawing water to flood the enemy's fields."
"What do you say? Should we intervene?" Zoro asked Luffy.
Luffy stood at the bow, glanced at Nami who was calling for help, then at the pirates behind her, and suddenly grinned.
"Everyone, get ready to fight!"
With that, he grabbed the bow, stretched his arms back, and used himself as a slingshot, launching himself towards the Black Cat Pirates.
Zoro grabbed Luffy's feet and flew out with him. Lina stayed behind to guard the ship.
He had already recognized Nami, and her boat was slowly approaching.
"Boom!"
Luffy and Zoro, like human cannonballs, crashed directly into the Black Cat Pirates, knocking over several pirates upon landing.
"Who are you!?"
"Are they accomplices of that thief?" The pirates surrounded them, drawing their guns and swords.
A stylishly dressed man wearing heart-shaped glasses stepped forward and said calmly to Luffy and Zoro, "Who cares, let's capture them first. Go!"
"Yes, Captain Jango!"
As Jango's voice fell, all the pirates excitedly charged forward, and the battle on the ship instantly erupted.
Since Kuro had designed his retreat three years ago, Jango had become the acting captain. Now, Kuro's plan was about to come to fruition, and they were heading towards Syrup Village.
Unexpectedly, they encountered a thief halfway who stole more than half of their treasure. If they went to see Kuro like this, he would skin them alive.
However, Luffy and Zoro's combat power was almost unrivaled in the East Blue, especially since the Black Cat Pirates had 'lost' their captain, Kuro, three years ago.
The pirates who charged forward first, before they could even see what was happening, were instantly sent flying backward.
"Wh-what's going on?"
"These two are not simple. Everyone, attack together!"
The pirates' expressions turned grim, and they swarmed forward.
However, with the vast difference in strength, numbers were no longer an advantage. The pirates surged forward like a tide, only to retreat again and again.
"... So strong!"
Nami couldn't help but exclaim as she watched the situation on the ship.
She had originally just intended to lead the trouble here, and seeing this, she thought these two might even wipe out the enemy.
"Yo, that's a lot of money."
At some point, Lina had already arrived on Nami's ship.
He opened a bag left on deck, and it was filled with glittering treasure.
Startled by the sudden voice from behind, Nami spun around.
A blonde man was crouching in front of the treasure she had just stolen. Scared, she quickly rushed forward and snatched it back.
"Uh... um... thank you for saving me. My name is Nami, nice to meet you."
Nami, flustered, hid the treasure behind her and tried to change the subject.
"You're happy too early."
Lina's expression was blank as he extended his palm, making a "give it here" gesture.
"I! Am a pirate, and I'm robbing you!"
"What!?"
Nami was shocked. There were three of them, on a small boat, and they weren't flying a flag, which was why she dared to approach.
And they turned out to be pirates!
Had she walked into a tiger's den?
She took out her three-section staff from her 'Nami Valley', assembled it into a long staff, and stared warily at Lina.
Nami thought to herself, There's only one of them. If I'm careful, I might have a chance.
Clang!
Clang! Two figures, one tall and one short, suddenly landed on the small boat. Both were wearing sharp cat-claw gloves. The newcomers were the cat-man brothers, Sam and Buchi.
"Hehehehe."
Sam leered as he sized them up. "You dare to steal from our ship? Have you thought about how you're going to die?"
Nami looked at the two figures in a panic, a thought flashing through her mind. She turned and looked at Lina pitifully. "Boss! They're the ones who were chasing me!"
Leading trouble, round two.
Lina glanced at Nami with amusement. What a little vixen. Pretty face, and surprisingly good at playing games.
He leisurely lit a cigarette and glanced mockingly at the cat-man brothers. "That laugh of yours... you won't live long, kid."
"What did you say!?"
Sam's face darkened as he glared at Lina. This was the first time anyone had dared to speak to them like this.
He licked the claws on his hands, a fierce glint in his eyes.
"We're the Cat-Man Brothers, with a bounty of seven million Belly. Are you saying you want to have a go with us?"
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Licking your blade? That action of yours is even more of a death wish, little bro," Lina said, tapping the ash off his cigarette.
Screeeech-- Screeeech--
A sharp, piercing sound suddenly rang out. Two figures emerged from the cabin of the small boat.
One was wearing a long trench coat, dressed all in black, with a ferocious face and sharp teeth. His forehead protruded like a long blade, and two more blades extended from his hands.
The other was wearing a white shirt, gray-black trousers, a tie, and sneakers, looking like a typical energetic youth.
However, he caused both the cat-man brothers and Nami to show expressions of utter terror.
The sharp, piercing sound just now had come from him, because of the... three terrifying chainsaws extending from his hands and forehead!
"What the hell are those things!!"
Nami cried out and collapsed onto the deck, her body trembling as she retreated from the two demonic, horrifying figures, only stopping when she hit the railing.
Gulp~
The cat-man brothers swallowed hard, their eyes filled with dread as they stared at the two figures. They wished they were dead right now.
This wasn't even about whether they could win or not; they were just too terrifying to look at, especially with those three whirring chainsaws.
We'd be torn to shreds if they touched us, was the only thought left in their minds.
Lina flicked his cigarette butt and crushed it under his shoe, smiling gently at the cat-man brothers. "Everyone, allow me to introduce: this is Little Knife, and this is Little Saw."
"So, it's just the two of you with seven million Belly?"
"W-wait a minute!"
Cold sweat beaded on the cat-man brothers' foreheads as they trembled and backed away. Seeing the two demons approaching, they couldn't help but cry out:
"Don't come any closer!!!"
