By the riverside on the eastern coast of Little Garden, next to the Merry.
"You guys aren't much either."
Lina looked with amusement at the Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus lying on the ground, prey hunted by Sanji and Zoro.
"You bastard, you're cheating with the undead!"
"Never mind the undead, aren't you hunting on the island either?"
Zoro and Sanji gritted their teeth and said indignantly.
"What are you talking about! How can using Devil Fruits be called cheating?" Lina was unhappy when he heard that and directly cursed:
"Besides, this giant turtle was caught on the island. Who says turtles can't come ashore! I'm going to find my lawyer!"
"You damn blonde!"
"What did you say, moss-head?"
"I didn't say you, curly eyebrows!"
Zoro changed his tune and cursed, "You damn four-eyes!"
Bang! Bang!
Just as the three were arguing fiercely, a loud noise came from behind. The group turned their heads and saw Dorry and Brogy.
"It's the Giant uncles."
"They're here to see us off."
"Hey uncles! Goodbye!" Everyone looked up and waved goodbye to the giants.
Dorry and Brogy put their hands on their hips and let out hearty laughs, "Gahahaha, goodbye, you brats!"
"No matter what you encounter later, just keep moving forward!"
"Keep moving forward, ah, okay! We know!" Luffy shouted with a grin.
The group boarded the ship one after another. Lina summoned the undead, retracted the anchor, and began to operate the ship.
The Merry sailed along the river. The primeval forests on both banks were lush. The dense tree shadows and intertwined green vines slowly receded. The ship merged into the ocean and left the island.
Less than a few kilometers after sailing out, the calm sea suddenly surged with waves. A small boat on the vast sea swayed violently on the surging tide, and a huge, terrifying dark shadow gradually emerged.
Splash--!
Breaking through the water surface, a giant sea monster suddenly appeared. Its ferocious maw opened like a dark, deep abyss, and seawater poured into the bottomless pit that stretched to infinity.
Nami was panicked and sat on the deck, shouting, "Waaah! What monster is this!!"
"We're going to die! We're going to die!"
"No, we can't control the ship at all!"
The Merry lost all control and was drawn step by step towards the abyss by the pouring seawater.
The Island Eater Goldfish, a legendary giant sea monster written in epic tales and passed down through the ages, lives by eating islands. It is rumored that its excrement is like land.
Facing a monster that could overturn mountains and seas with a single flip, everyone felt a sense of despair just by looking at it. Even the usually calm and composed Zoro frowned and gritted his teeth, his expression solemn.
Looking at the Island Eater Goldfish, whose teeth were larger than the Merry, Lina couldn't help but click his tongue.
He glanced back at the two giants, who had already adopted a charging stance, exuding an unprecedented terrifying aura.
"Since it's the uncles' good intentions, let's leave it to them."
Lina gave up summoning the Blue Ogre and Red Ogre. A combined attack on the ship would likely cause considerable damage to the Merry due to the recoil.
Lina's brow gradually relaxed, and the corners of his mouth turned up inadvertently. He faced the abyss before him, unmoved.
"Everyone! Keep moving forward!!"
Luffy shouted while sitting on the sheep's head, his eyes showing no fear, only firm trust in the giants.
"Forward, you big-headed ghost! We're all going to die!"
The Merry gradually sailed into the ferocious maw, and the vision gradually darkened until it was pitch black.
Suddenly, two rough voices entered their ears, filled with twelve parts pride.
"The only ones who can stop us!!"
"Is that blood-stained great serpent!!"
"Please everyone, feel the ultimate technique from the Land of Giants..."
Legs bent, hands tightly gripping their sword-axes, the two giants simultaneously assumed a charging posture like swinging a bat to hit a ball. A ferocious aura sent chills down one's spine, and a ferocious roar echoed through the heavens:
"Elbaf Spear!!"
"Hagoku!!!!!"
"BOOM!!!!!!"
A gust of wind suddenly swept from behind Lina, blowing his golden hair wildly.
Like thunder, the deafening roar split the darkness, and a blinding white light pierced through. A terrifying wind pressure propelled the Merry.
Straight ahead!
"The, the, the ocean!"
"It's been split!!!"
"I'm outta here--!"
Everyone on the ship, without exception, stared with their jaws dropped to the deck.
Lina's mouth hung open as he blurted out a strange exclamation, utterly stunned by the sight of the ocean splitting in two before him.
Looking back, the figures of two Giants were rapidly shrinking, their weapons shattering and scattering.
"With that kind of power, they managed to ensure not a single ripple reached the Merry."
Lina was secretly shocked, his understanding of Haki shifting slightly. Had he misunderstood Teacher Kai?
He then recalled Kaido's furious roar, followed by the scene of him transforming and unleashing a blast of dragon flame.
"..."
On the island, the two Giants dropped their broken weapons and picked up their round shields.
They quietly watched the small ship sailing away on the sea, until the Merry became a black speck and disappeared over the horizon.
Dorry gazed at the point where the sea met the sky, his voice faint, "One kid who lives in daydreams, and another kid with no ambition at all.
"Many years ago, people like that seemed to have come to this island, one after another."
"I think you're right, I can't recall." Brogy replied simply.
"Gahahahaha!"
The two Giants stood there, laughing up at the sky, their black cloaks flapping in the wind, casting long shadows.
Bang--!
"Oh, a volcanic eruption, Dorry."
"Let's duel, Brogy, Gahahahaha!"
The battle that had lasted for a hundred years did not end with the shattering of their weapons.
The sun set, gradually sinking below the horizon. Stars shifted, and a crescent moon hung high in the black sky.
In the silent sea, the Merry was anything but quiet.
"Go, Zoro!"
"My shampoo fell out, Sanji!"
On deck, a group of people were watching two figures, one yellow and one green. Zoro and Sanji were leaning upside down against the first-floor cabin.
They gritted their teeth, eyes squeezed shut, veins clearly bulging on their foreheads, their faces full of impatience at the jeering crowd.
"Damn four-eyes!"
"I'll cut you down sooner or later!"
"Stop yelling, stop yelling." Lina smiled as he brought over two wooden basins filled with water, pushed them onto the deck, and slid them under their heads.
At first, the three of them had argued fiercely, but in the end, they decided to let others vote to determine the winner.
Zoro and Sanji's catches were roughly the same. To see one of them embarrass themselves more, everyone unanimously ruled that Lina using the undead was not a violation.
"Hahaha, go, Zoro!"
"Lina and Sanji usually make fools of themselves, I never thought this poker-faced guy would have his day."
That comment seemed to be aimed a bit at Zoro.
Lina squeezed some shampoo and smeared it directly onto their heads. "Alright, you can start your performance now."
With gritted teeth and impatient expressions, they supported themselves with one hand and quickly rubbed their heads with the other, wishing they could finish quickly and disappear into a crack in the earth.
"Hahaha."
"Gaga!!"
The crowd roared with laughter, while Lina took the opportunity to snap a photo and quickly slip away.
"What a shame there's no social media."
Lina sighed with a smile, ran to the back of the ship, climbed down the outer wall, and summoned over a dozen Fish-Men, stacking them up to form a bed to lie down on.
"Tonight is destined to be anything but peaceful," he decided not to return to his dorm to sleep.
As expected, it wasn't long before angry shouts erupted from the ship.
"Damn you, come out here, I'll cut you!"
"Four-eyes, believe it or not, I'll smash your glasses!"
Lina let out a wry smile, rolled over, and lit a cigarette. "Even Shinpachi's nickname has landed on me."
