The scene shifted back to Lina and the others. After Chopper noticed something strange about the wagon, they quietly followed it.
When they reached an alley, Lina made sure there was no one around, then summoned four undead hawks and sent them circling overhead.
After winding through a maze of streets, Lina and the others ended up at the edge of the city.
"What's going on? Isn't this supposed to be the city's underground organization?"
Watching the group leave the city and head into the desert, Lina rubbed his chin thoughtfully, then said:
"We still have to get back and meet up later. How about we just send the undead after them and capture someone to question?"
"Wait, Lina. Look over there." Nami's voice was quiet but urgent as she pointed into the distance.
Another group was leaving town, larger than the first. They were heading toward the wagon the others had been following.
"Chopper, do you smell anything unusual?" Lina swung the little reindeer's short legs, which dangled in front of him.
"No. It's just ordinary food." Chopper sniffed the air and spoke quietly.
"Then they're probably rebels—or people working for them."
If they were an established local gang or other underground organization, they wouldn't need to haul an entire wagon train of food.
After waiting there for a while, Lina spotted wagon trains of all sizes coming out of the city one after another, all heading in the same direction.
Chopper sniffed them out. Most were carrying weapons and provisions, and a few even had medical supplies—something Chopper knew all too well.
"Looks like someone's spotted us. Are they rebels or people from Baroque Works?"
A hawk swooped down and perched on Lina's arm, pointing its beak toward an alley on the right.
"Nami, remember where we are.
