"Whoosh!"
A golden streak of light shot up into the sky from a hundred meters up, Chaos riding the Giant Golden Sword straight towards the heavens.
One kilometer, three kilometers, five kilometers...
The air began to thin, and the sharp winds were incredibly strong.
Piercing through layer after layer of white clouds, a vast, boundless sea of clouds suddenly appeared before Chaos. But this wasn't the White Sea of Sky Island; it was just a normal, immense expanse of clouds.
Chaos stopped because a dreamlike, small island was floating on this sea of clouds, with a rainbow shining behind it. It was composed of mostly clouds and a small portion of land.
It looked like a fairyland suspended in the sky, far more beautiful and real than any special effects in movies.
It could be called a miracle.
"Weatheria?"
Chaos shot towards the island. If he remembered correctly, this should be the island where Nami would train in the future.
The inhabitants here were a group of old scholars who studied meteorology. They hadn't yet left Sky Island to drift with the wind.
When Chaos appeared, some of the old men on the island noticed him.
After all, it was hard not to notice such a massive Giant Golden Sword.
Chaos slowly descended onto a lush green, fragrant grassland. The Giant Golden Sword stood vertically behind him, moving as he walked.
It was quite a spectacle.
One could tell at a glance that he was a powerful individual.
"Are you from the Blue Sea, sir?"
Hareda and over a dozen old men walked out of the meteorology room, looking at Chaos on the grassland with a slight nervousness.
They were all old men, much younger than they would be 20 years later, but still in their sixties or seventies. Moreover, they were just meteorologists, with no combat ability.
For the past year, it had been strange. People from the Blue Sea hadn't come up in ten or twenty years, but a while ago, a pirate crew had come up. They called themselves the Roger Pirates.
They had even shared drinks, and the crew members were quite jovial.
How could someone else have come up so soon after?
Chaos looked at the old man before him. He had snow-white, waist-length whiskers split into two fish-tail shapes, and wore a robe and pointed hat similar to a Western wizard. Although he was still quite young, Chaos recognized him.
It was the old scientist who would later save Nami and teach her meteorology.
What was his name again?
"Yes."
Chaos showed a sunny smile, very friendly.
He planned to learn some navigation knowledge. He didn't need to be an expert, just enough to judge the weather and direction. It might be useful in the future.
The most terrifying thing in the pirate world was the weather, especially on the Grand Line and in the New World.
Getting lost at sea was even more dangerous!
Even though Chaos could fly.
What if he was severely injured after a fight with an enemy, fled in the wrong direction, and then ran out of stamina? That would be the end!
So, learning a little navigation knowledge was a good precaution.
If he hadn't arrived here, he might have overlooked this.
"My name is Gaia Chaos. I heard that Weatheria has the world's most skilled meteorologists, so I came to visit and learn some knowledge about meteorology and navigation."
Chaos didn't bat an eye, speaking as if it were the truth.
"My name is Hareda. So that's how it is!"
The old men were relieved. As long as there was no hostility, it was fine.
Thus, Chaos stayed in Weatheria for ten days and quickly mastered some basic meteorology. He had never been so smart before.
He had no foundation in meteorological science, but he learned very quickly!
Chaos confirmed it once again.
He was a genius.
In his previous life, he was trash. If he had the talent he had now, getting the top score in the college entrance examination would have been a piece of cake.
He couldn't bear to recall the past!
After gaining some meteorological knowledge, Chaos bid farewell to Hareda and the others, soaring into the sky towards the higher heavens.
At the same time, a permanent Log Pose appeared on his right wrist.
It was exactly the same as the one Nami wore after her training.
Piercing through layer after layer of white clouds, the winds grew fiercer, and the air became even thinner!
Following the route Hareda had given him, Chaos didn't head directly into the White Sea but flew to its edge.
One had to know that Sky Island had two White Seas, one above and one below.
The first is at an altitude of 7,000 meters, called the White Sea.
Another is at an altitude of 10,000 meters, called the White White Sea, which is where the true Sky Island is located.
"This is truly a miracle!"
Standing under the sky, Chaos directly arrived above the White White Sea, marveling at the beautiful scenery before him!
On the special sea of clouds, a lush green island could be faintly seen.
Dreamlike, masterful!
Vast yet wonderful, indescribable.
Calculating the time, the God of Sky Island at this moment should be Gan Fall.
Looking up, an island full of greenery and soil was located above the entire White White Sea.
God Island Apis, known as the Sacred Realm, the dwelling place of gods.
Part of Jaya Island!
Chaos continued to fly upwards, a hint of discomfort appearing on his face; the environment here put some pressure on him.
But once he adapted, his physique would definitely strengthen considerably.
"How extravagant."
Under the sunlight, a magnificent palace gleamed, entirely made of gold!
Even the plaza tiles were gold.
Chaos landed, crouched down, and placed his right palm on the ground. Using the Gold-Gold Fruit's ability, the entire complex was within his grasp.
A place like this was tailor-made for Chaos.
The Gold-Gold Fruit not only allowed his body to turn into gold but also to control gold, provided Chaos had touched it before.
Just as Chaos stood up, a troop of soldiers in armor carrying spears emerged from the palace, led by a thin old man.
He also wore armor and had a greatsword at his waist.
Gan Fall, a god who loved his people, allowed the residents of Sky Island to live happy and peaceful lives, and was a god deeply beloved by his people.
He looked much younger than he would in the future.
"Skypeople!"
Gan Fall frowned, immediately recognizing Chaos's origin.
They were very similar to Roger and his crew.
After all, Skypeople and natives of the Blue Sea were easily distinguishable.
"Who dares to trespass in the Sacred Realm?"
A priest did not have Gan Fall's good temper. That group of pirates a while ago had no manners at all; if the adults hadn't stopped him, he would have taught those people a lesson.
And now this guy, upon seeing a god, didn't even bow.
"Schneizel!"
Gan Fall stopped the priest and looked at Chaos with a peaceful expression, "Your Excellency, are you from the Blue Sea?"
"Do you mind if I take all the gold on Sky Island?"
Chaos shrugged. The golden longsword erected behind him drew the frequent attention of the priests and warriors, simply because the greatsword was suspended in the air, just above the man's back.
It was quite impactful.
"Greedy Blue Sea dwellers, as expected, you've come for the gold."
Schneizel showed an "I knew it" expression and decisively ordered, "Seize him!"
If one didn't know better, they'd think he was the god.
"Wouldn't a pleasant conversation be better? Why resort to force?"
Chaos looked at the charging warriors, wondering if they were foolish or just foolish.
He raised his right hand and waved gently. The entire golden ground vibrated, and several streams quickly extended like octopus tentacles, binding everyone in the air.
"How can the ground...!"
"Damn it."
Chaos had effortlessly defeated them all with just a wave of his hand.
Simple, easy, and effortless!
"Please don't hurt them."
Gan Fall was anxious. He was the only one unharmed; it was clear this person was a powerhouse, just like Roger and his crew.
"Can we talk properly now?"
Chaos's mind moved, and the chaotic golden branches returned to their calm state. The entire plaza was as it was before.
