Chaos stood before the floor-to-ceiling windows, his figure hazy and indistinct as he gazed outside. Compared to the streets that had once teemed with people, the area was now much more deserted, but that was only temporary.
It wouldn't be long before Gold City was busier than ever.

Baccarat and Betty sat behind the desk. With Stussy gone, the two women had a lot more administrative work to handle. At least they couldn't take things as easy as before.

They weren't used to it.
Both women missed Stussy terribly.
The others felt the same. It always seemed like something was missing.
It made sense.
When a complete, close-knit family suddenly lost one of its members, it might not seem like much at first. But as time passed, the others would find themselves unaccustomed to the absence, missing that person and feeling the pain of their loss.
The only consolation was that Stussy could still be brought back to life.
