He learned the cult had deliberately exposed him to a corrupted dream to study his unusual connection to the World Within the Painting, and the arc ended with a patient in urgent danger.

• Fu Qian used the Dark Moon to reach a museum, where he found his powerless painting and met Rafferty, who identified him as the missing employee Anke.
• Fu Qian met Amira and the Leisens, learning that the couple had endured decades of nightmares connected to the painting and that the Celestial Cult was investigating the victims.
• Fu Qian woke inside a sealed nightmare, followed a cult hunter, and watched Harriet attack him before Amira intervened and erased Harriet from the scene.
• Amira explained that Harriet had been investigated for causing men’s bodies to mutate, healed Fu Qian, and asked him to guard a patient’s nightmare with her and Reginald.

Fu Qian used a Warehouse mission to investigate Jian Wenlos’s strange transformation and traced it to a dangerous painting encountered at an art salon. Olyntel confirmed Jian was blessed by the stars rather than contaminated, while the Order agreed to investigate the painting and offered Fu Qian guidance.

• Fu Qian entered Containment Scene 2-191 and was tasked with purifying the Blood of Blasphemy within Jian Wenlos before sunrise.
• Fu Qian examined Jian, found no physical contamination, and used Eternal Clarity of Thought to briefly restore her oversized eyes before discovering that her body was changing toward a more primordial state.
• Fu Qian questioned Natalie and Jian, learning about the fog outside Lairding, the Abandoned Children of the Stars, and Jian’s encounter with a painting at an art salon.

• Jian’s strange voice and spreading markings led Olyntel to attack her, but Fu Qian recognized that the room’s time was reversing as her severed legs regrew.
• Fu Qian exposed Natalie’s pregnancy and her involvement with the butler, then used Clear Dream as an unseen presence seized control of the Wenlos family.
