To be continued. December 13. Heavy rain.
We finally defeated the high-level warrior of the Zhutian Civilization, but the price was steep. All the Corpse Kings died. In their final moments, they passed all their abilities on to me, which let me deliver the high-level warrior a fatal blow.
What a terrifying opponent. He destroyed every ship under our control all by himself.
We finally learned that the one who revealed our whereabouts to the high-level warrior was the will of the zombie planet.
It had deceived us.
It was actually part of the Zhutian Civilization. Whenever the Zhutian Civilization invaded another planet, it would go there first and create a zombie crisis, preventing that planet from forming an effective military force. That gave the Zhutian Civilization an opening, allowing it to invade successfully every time.
But this time, I—a human who retained his sanity after turning into a zombie—was there to help Blue Star repel the Zhutian Civilization's army and ruin its plans.
It wanted to use the high-level warrior to kill me, but it still failed. We killed the high-level warrior instead.
Perhaps it hadn't failed completely. The Zhutian Civilization's garrison would soon arrive. Our ships had been destroyed, and we no longer had any way to detonate the seventh spirit-stone vein. My only fate was probably death.
No, there was another way. The Corpse King Neng's ability was to exchange matter for energy, allowing him to turn any part of his body into energy. I could gain that ability through sharing, then make my entire hundred-plus-pound body explode and detonate this spirit-stone vein.
Who would've thought that this was how I'd die, at the end of my life?
So be it. Destroying the Zhutian Civilization's energy source before I died and stopping it from invading other planets
