A Banquet

Meng Jingzhou pressed a hand to his forehead, his tone full of helplessness. "Do you have a bigger map? One that marks places like the Xuanwu Clan and the Kunpeng Clan, for example?"

Meng Jingzhou's question startled the steward. "The Xuanwu Clan and the Kunpeng Clan are legendary races! The seas where they live are forbidden zones, off-limits to humankind. How could we possibly know where they are?"

Meng Jingzhou thought of the Kunpeng Clan elder who had visited his home during New Year. The man had seemed quite kind and had even given him a New Year's gift of money.

Meng Jingzhou regretted that Old Ma had dropped them off too soon. He should at least have taken them farther into the East Sea to find somewhere with a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator.

There wasn't even a Foundation Establishment Realm cultivator in this godforsaken place.

"Where are we supposed to find a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator to ask for directions..." Lu Yang mused. Then a sudden flash of insight struck him, and he realized he'd been thinking himself into a dead end.

"We were worried about flying over the sea and getting attacked by the sea folk, so we wanted to buy a map and look for a safe route."

"But why do we need a safe route? We can just keep flying east without thinking. The sea folk around here don't even have a Foundation Establishment Realm cultivator. By the time they react, we'll already be gone."

Meng Jingzhou suddenly saw the light. "Right! If we just keep flying east, sooner or later we'll run into a Nascent Soul Realm cultivator or sea folk."

The steward listened to the five of them discuss this with a pounding heart. Could all five be legendary Nascent Soul Realm monsters?
