Chen Yi used the Martial Scripture to lift Holy Wing Star’s deadly Contamination and carried it toward the enormous eye in space. As he tried to seal the source, a Holy Dragon Person attacked him and revealed himself as Qingzhi, the Heavenly Dragon Emperor.

• Chen Yi found that the ascenders could not learn the Martial Scripture, while the source-like Contamination overwhelmed Chen Jing and the others on Holy Wing Star.
• Chen Yi left Ji Wuqing to care for his companions and raised the planet’s Contamination into the sky with the Martial Scripture.
• Chen Yi urged his comrades to pass on their spirit, then flew toward the Demon Eye with Black Wind following him.

Chen Yi confronted Qingzhi, the Heavenly Dragon Emperor, after Qingzhi mortally wounded him, and used his remaining time to challenge Qingzhi’s rule and question him. Qingzhi explained what he knew about Chen Yi and the Martial Scripture, but insisted Chen Yi had to die because he had disrupted an unknown balance.

• Qingzhi mortally wounded Chen Yi, who spat at him and condemned the injustice and oppression under his rule.
• Qingzhi said he had watched Chen Yi since he began cultivating the Martial Scripture and had known about his efforts to revive humanity, but had not stopped them.
• Qingzhi claimed that Immortal Emperors had to preserve a balance and that Chen Yi’s actions had disrupted it, though he refused to explain what the balance meant.
• Chen Yi learned that only people with sufficiently pure Earthling blood could cultivate the Martial Scripture.
• Qingzhi said he had not ordered the investigation and attack on Holy Wing Star, and that someone else would deal with the Contamination.

Chen Yi’s seventh simulation ended after Qingzhi destroyed his stone body and soul, and the aftermath revealed the Contamination’s spread and a devastating battle across several star systems. He received his memories and First Immortal Lord Stage cultivation, then began planning to leave the Tianhe Star System for his next simulation.
