Arc 41Lu Ya Joins Great Shang
Lu Ya became Qingyuan’s disciple and brought his Demon Race forces into Great Shang, where Di Xin accepted them as allies against West Qi. As Great Zhou expanded under Guangchengzi, the Chan Sect began plotting to lure and destroy Interception Sect disciples, pressuring the Qilin Old Ancestor and Phoenix Ancestor to assist.
- Lu Ya followed his token to Golden Ao Island, where Qingyuan accepted him as a disciple, removed his hidden shackles, and promised him a chance at sainthood if he helped Great Shang defeat West Qi.
- Lu Ya returned to the demons, rewarded Canlong, Ghost Mountain, and Taoche with Dragon-Eye Elixirs, then led his followers to Chaoge to offer Great Shang an alliance.
- Di Xin accepted Lu Ya’s forces after Lu Ya presented a Primordial Nine-Turn Elixir and negotiated riches, then appointed him and his followers to official posts as West Qi gathered its forces.
- Guangchengzi entered Wa Huang Heaven seeking support against Lu Ya, killed Bifang when he resisted, and persuaded Phoenix Ancestor to bring the Phoenix Clan into the Great Zhou Divine Dynasty.
- As West Qi attacked neighboring states and Great Shang struggled to recruit Interception Sect aid, Guangchengzi rebuked Ji Chang for neglecting Jiang Ziya and the Investiture Altar.
- Ji Chang pulled Jiang Ziya’s carriage for more than eight hundred laps, and Jiang Ziya declared that Great Zhou’s fate was fixed at eight hundred years.
- Guangchengzi gathered Chan Sect leaders and proposed targeting the Interception Sect with a fabricated lost history promising a path to sainthood.
- The Qilin Old Ancestor and Phoenix Ancestor protested that they had agreed only to oppose Shang Zhou, but Guangchengzi warned that they would be replaced if they refused to help deceive the Interception Sect.
