At Chentang Pass, Nezha died to save the town, Yun Zhongzi punished the Interception Sect attackers and confronted Li Jing, then agreed to return to help investigate the Internet’s collapse.

• Phoenix Ancestor attacked Daoist Randeng, who endured her assaults as his Nirvana aura strengthened, and Guangchengzi eventually called off the fighting while claiming the clash had been a test.
• Daoist Randeng left the Chan Sect to found the Immortal Awakening Sect, admitted to Taibai Golden Star that he had truly comprehended the path to sainthood, and stayed to help the exhausted Heavenly Court recover.
• Guangchengzi tried to enlist Great Immortal Zhenyuan and Sect Master Minghe, then ordered Ji Chang to begin the Conquest of Zhou when both were unavailable.
• Daoist Duobao inflamed the Jie Sect Disciples’ anger at Yun Zhongzi and the other Personal Disciples over the vanished Internet, then ordered them recalled to restore it.
• Immortal Dingguang and Jie Sect Disciples attacked Chentang Pass, killed its defenders, and fought Nezha, who killed Jiaorang Immortal before the attackers threatened the town and demanded his life.
• Nezha sacrificed himself to protect Chentang Pass, but the Jie Sect Disciples broke their promise to leave, attacked the town, and tortured Li Jing until Yun Zhongzi arrived and froze them.
• Yun Zhongzi bound the attackers and killed the Jie Sect Disciples responsible for the disaster, then condemned Li Jing’s conduct and used his Divine Whip to dispel the evil influence he said had corrupted him.
• Immortal Dingguang asked Yun Zhongzi to return to the Interception Sect to help investigate and restore the Internet, warning that Qingyuan’s disciples were accused of exploiting its collapse and that other disciples might cause trouble.

Yun Zhongzi challenged Daoist Duobao’s claim to lead the Interception Sect while Lady Yin’s effort to revive Nezha ended in tragedy and drove Li Jing to defect to West Qi. Li Jing died under Lu Ya’s curse, and Duobao prepared to force Yun Zhongzi’s faction into submission.

• Yun Zhongzi confronted Daoist Duobao over his claim to be Acting Sect Master, crushed Duobao’s attack, and left Golden Ao Island with many Jie Sect Disciples as their factions clashed.
• Lady Yin built a temple for Nezha on Cui Ping Shan, but Li Jing led soldiers to destroy it and kill its worshippers before learning that the Human Emperor had approved it.
• Lady Yin reported Li Jing to the court, but Jin Zha and Muzha persuaded their father to sever ties with Yin Shang and flee to West Qi.
• Ji Chang received Li Jing without the troops or allies he had expected, then appointed him Vanguard Grand Marshal for the attack on Jiameng Pass.
• Li Jing used True Man Du'e’s Wind Settling Pearl to suppress the Three Flavors Divine Wind and help West Qi capture Demon Wind Stockade.
• After Li Jing insulted Lu Ya, Lu Ya cursed him with the Nail-Head Seven Arrows Book, and Li Jing died when the curse crushed his body and dispersed his True Spirit.
• Guangchengzi explained that Li Jing could not be revived, though he would regain consciousness after the Conquest of Zhou as Haotian’s subject.
• As the Interception Sect’s factional fighting worsened, Daoist Duobao accepted Guangchengzi’s conditions, took a pill that could temporarily make him a False Saint, and ordered Immortal Dingguang to summon Yun Zhongzi’s faction.

Duobao seized control of the Interception Sect while the Asura Race, led by Tian Bo Xun, joined the Chan Sect and devastated Great Shang’s passes. As Tian Bo Xun defied Minghe and challenged his authority, Minghe revealed that Abi and Yuantu still obeyed him.

• Duobao imprisoned Yun Zhongzi and his supporters, seized the Interception Sect’s Fortune Aura and Four Immortal Slaying Swords, and drove dissenting disciples away.
• Lu Ya killed Jiang Ziya at Jiameng Pass, but Guangchengzi revived him repeatedly as Lu Ya’s curse continued to strike.
• Guangchengzi recruited Tian Bo Xun and empowered him as a Human Dao Saint in exchange for the Asura Race’s support against Great Shang.
• Tian Bo Xun captured and massacred Jiameng Pass, Jiepai Pass, and Azure Dragon Pass, then clashed with Duobao and the Interception Sect at the East Sea.
• Tian Bo Xun defied Minghe’s recall order and rallied the Asuras to reject their founder’s rule.
• Minghe confronted Tian Bo Xun outside Chuanyun Pass, where Tian Bo Xun attacked him with Abi and Yuantu, but the swords stopped before Minghe’s forehead.

Minghe revealed his sainthood and sought to make amends, while the conflict between Yin Shang and West Qi escalated into a war between the Chan Sect and Interception Sect. The arc ended with Venerable Yuanshi trapping Sect Master Tongtian in a powerful formation.

• Minghe killed Tian Bo Xun and the Asura forces at Chuanyun Pass, apologized to the Jie Sect Disciples, and later searched unsuccessfully for the Four Extremities Heaven.
• Wen Zhong enlisted Lü Yue to cure Chuanyun Pass’s plague, and Lü Yue defeated Poison Dwarf Dragon before Guangchengzi’s forces killed him.
• The Interception Sect killed True Person Huanglong after he delivered Lü Yue’s remains, and Guangchengzi responded by killing Qiushou Xian and declaring a Dao War against the Interception Sect.
• The Chan Sect breached Chuanyun Pass and killed Wen Zhong, but Di Xin revealed his strength, killed Ji Chang, and rallied Yin Shang and the Interception Sect against West Qi.
• The Three Xiāo trapped the Chan Sect immortals in the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation, where the Hunyuan Golden Dou stripped them of their Dao Fruits and cultivation.
• Venerable Yuanshi broke the formation and killed the Three Xiāo, then slew thousands of Interception Sect disciples when they confronted him.
• Sect Master Tongtian returned and challenged Venerable Yuanshi, who trapped Tongtian in the Nine-Turn Fiend-Refining, God-Demon-Sweeping Saint Formation.
