Qingyuan thwarted the Western Sages’ schemes, helped Houtu become Pingxin and establish Reincarnation, then resisted Hongjun and the Saints’ claim to the Earthly Dao. He left the Netherworld strengthened and arranged for White Bone Buddha and disciples from other sects to help govern it.

• Long Zhang launched the Tianhai Phone at Cloud Mountain Myriad Treasures Pavilion, where Luo Qiong demonstrated its features and announced its price as Immortal Dingguang plotted to abduct her.
• Maitreya enlisted Chang'er Dingguang Xian to approach Daoist Duobao with the Wordless Scripture, while Jieyin and Zhunti conspired to infiltrate Qingyuan’s Dream Realm and distract Tongtian.
• Jieyin’s Separate Thought attacked Qingyuan in the Dream Realm, but Qingyuan defeated and repeatedly destroyed it before binding the incarnation to his control with a Saint-Slaying Pill.
• Jieyin and Zhunti attacked Qingyuan during a Dao discussion at Biyou Palace, prompting Tongtian to drive them off and later devastate the Western Pure Land, and Zhunti crippled Kinnara, who became Wutian under White Bone Buddha’s guidance.
• Qingyuan worked with Jieyin’s incarnation to develop the Virtual World, while Jieyin spread the Great Dream Heart Sutra until Hongjun stopped his coercive expansion.
• After the Witch and Demon Clans’ war was halted, Houtu created Reincarnation, became Pingxin, and gave Qingyuan Ancestral Witch Blood Essence to pass to the Witch Clan.
• Qingyuan strengthened the Netherworld and Earthly Dao, then stood with Pingxin against Hongjun and the Saints, and he withstood their attacks in the Chaos Great Dao Hall and negotiated support for the Netherworld.
• Qingyuan traded with the Saints for treasures and pills, sending White Bone Buddha to oversee the Western Teachings, and Zhunti sent Ksitigarbha to the Netherworld, and Yuanshi arranged for True Person Taiyi to go there.

Qingyuan intervened when the Witch and Demon Clans nearly destroyed the Human Race, then helped stabilize the world after Buzhou Mountain fell. As Qingyuan and his disciples entered seclusion, Haotian struggled to recruit officials for the Heavenly Court and found the Western Teachings eager to secure influence there.

• Pingxin appointed Taiyi’s ten embodiments as the Ten Directions Heavenly Venerate of Salvation, while Taiyi mocked Ksitigarbha for being left in the Underworld.
• Qingyuan offered to take Jiu Feng as his disciple, but she hesitated, and the Ancestral Witches chose Chi You to become the Thirteenth Ancestor Witch.
• The Golden Crows slaughtered witches, Yi killed several of them, and Di Jun later approved a secret plan to forge a Witch-Breaking Weapon from human blood.
• The Witch and Demon Clans besieged the surviving humans, but Qingyuan arrived, crushed their attackers, and forced the demons to withdraw after Di Jun recalled his promise to protect humanity.
• Qingyuan recruited the Mysterious Tortoise as Xuanming, while the Witch-Demon war ended in catastrophe when Gonggong broke Buzhou Mountain and the Saints stabilized the shattered world.
• Hongjun appointed Haotian Lord of the Heavenly Court, but Haotian and Yaochi found the Nine Heavens ruined and failed to recruit Wu Gang or Chang'e.
• Haotian sought officials from the Human, Chan, and Interception Sects, but their leaders and disciples mostly refused, while Tongtian allowed willing disciples to go.
• Haotian accepted Maitreya, Yaoshi, and Akasagarbha as prospective Heavenly Court leaders, then left the Western Teachings after realizing they might take control of the court.

Haotian sought Qingyuan’s help to make the Heavenly Court powerful, and Qingyuan directed him to separate the Heavenly Realm from the Mortal Realm. Haotian raised the Heavenly Veil despite widespread opposition, while an unknown finger defeated the challengers, including Jieyin and Zhunti.

• Haotian recruited Li Changgeng and traveled through the Primordial Wilderness to enlist cultivators, while the Young Golden Crow’s Demon Kingdom collapsed under his autocratic rule.
• Baize dissolved the Demon Kingdom and brought the Young Golden Crow to Nuwa, while Jiu Feng carried Chi You’s Primordial Spirit to the Reincarnation Site and sought the Interception Sect’s First Disciple.
• The Dao Ancestor proclaimed the Human Race the Protagonist of Heaven and Earth and explained that the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors would guide its rise, while the Saints argued over who would assist them.
• Qingyuan emerged from more than ten million years of secluded cultivation, recovered a Chaos Bell Fragment from the River of Time, and met Haotian while fishing.
• Haotian asked Qingyuan to help strengthen the Heavenly Court, and Qingyuan agreed on condition that Haotian obtain Yaochi’s Plain Colored Cloud Boundary Flag and become his disciple.
• Qingyuan gave Haotian the Sky-Shading Mountain Sea Curtain and urged him to carry out Severance of the Ways by separating the Heavenly Realm from the Mortal Realm.
• Haotian took the flag from Yaochi, declared the creation of the Heavenly Veil, and spread the curtain across the Primordial Wilderness, darkening the sky and reducing Innate Spiritual Energy.
• Queen Mother of the West, Zhen Yuanzi, Minghe, Ancestor Kunpeng, and the Western Saints attacked the veil, but a descending finger defeated them all.

Haotian established the Heavenly Court’s authority and secured Qingyuan’s help, while the Interception Sect prepared to assist the coming Human Emperor. The rival sects searched for Fuxi, and Yun Zhongzi’s group found his mother and began guiding him after his birth.

• Haotian defeated the Two Sages of the West and merged the Heavenly Veil with the Primordial Wilderness, then imposed new rules on Heaven and Earth.
• Haotian clashed with Yaochi, turned away Chan Sect disciples, and tried unsuccessfully to recruit powerful figures before asking Qingyuan to oversee the Heavenly Court.
• Qingyuan agreed to help Haotian in exchange for positions and authority, then revealed to Jieyin’s incarnation that he had reached the Primordial Grand Unity Golden Immortal realm.
• Tongtian summoned the Interception Sect and appointed Qingyuan to lead its effort to help the Human Emperor, while disciples volunteered and received treasures from Tongtian.
• Qingyuan told his disciples that Fuxi would be reincarnated as the first Human Emperor, and the Human Sect, Chan Sect, and Western Sages each sent followers to seek him.
• Haotian admitted his mistakes to his ministers, appointed Li Changgeng Taibai Golden Star, and used Qingyuan’s token to raise him to a One-Corpse-Severed Quasi-Saint.
• Yun Zhongzi and six Interception Sect disciples captured Baize and Jiu Feng, then searched for the Hua Xu Tribe and learned that it had exiled Hua Xu Shi.
• Yun Zhongzi’s group found Hua Xu Shi and brought her back to the Hua Xu Tribe, where Fuxi was born ten years later and began receiving guidance from Yun Zhongzi and the other disciples.
