In a newly opened realm within the Western Land.

This realm was a pure land born of supreme vow power and perfect wisdom.

Boundless, unhindered light shone upon everything within the pure land. At its center, a compassionate Buddha Patriarch sat upon an enormous jeweled lotus throne.

The World-Honored Tathagata and his party arrived at the Present-Moment Pure Land.

Even they were shaken by its scale and nature.

Everything they saw far surpassed the Buddhist Sect's pure land they had created. More astonishing still, this realm had been formed from Heavenly Dao Merit.

The pure land before their eyes—

It was a vast, boundless manifestation of Heavenly Dao Merit!

This man was so lavish that he had poured Heavenly Dao Merit into a pure land. How could the World-Honored Tathagata and his companions not be shocked?

"Amitabha..."

Universal Manifestation Tathagata's voice echoed through the pure land. He made no attempt to avoid the arrival of the Tathagata Buddha Patriarch, Ancient Buddha Randeng, and their companions.

Instead, he opened the conversation himself. "I am Universal Manifestation. Greetings, fellow Daoists."

"Who are you? What exactly do you want from the Western Teachings?"

Maitreya stepped forward, his face cold, anger and resentment burning in his eyes. "I've never heard of you in the Western Teachings. Universal Manifestation? Our teachers have no disciple by that name. What trick did you use to swindle all that Heavenly Dao Merit from them?"

"Do you know that we disciples have followed our teachers for countless years, wearing our hearts thin to mend the Western Earth Veins, yet to this day we haven't received a shred of Merit?"
