Li Jing stood atop the clouds, the Exquisite Pagoda in his hand spinning in his palm and casting rings of golden light.
He stared at the Little White Dragon in Eagle Sorrow Ravine below, his brows knotted tightly.
What was going on with this little dragon?
He had just watched the Four Heavenly Kings get driven back.
The Four Heavenly Kings were not considered top-tier fighters in the Heavenly Court, but they were still righteous gods. Yet they had been beaten black and blue by the son of the West Sea Dragon King?
Li Jing vaguely sensed that something was wrong, but before a hundred thousand heavenly soldiers and generals, he could not show weakness.
He glanced back at Nezha. Nezha was crouching behind a cloud with Sun Wukong, whispering about something he could not make out.
His relationship with Nezha had never been particularly good.
Li Jing could not be bothered with him.
Li Jing turned his gaze back to Eagle Sorrow Ravine and raised the Treasure Pagoda in his hand, sending golden light from its base down into the ravine.
The golden light fell upon the water, sending ripples across the surface, but it soon returned to calm.
"Wretch, do you know who I am?"
The Little White Dragon poked his head out of the water. The silver-white dragon robe clung wetly to his body, his hair was disheveled, yet there was not a trace of panic on his face. Instead, he carried himself with a carefree, unruly air.
"Aren't you the Pagoda-Bearing Heavenly King? What do you want?"
He tilted his head, the corner of his mouth curling in disdain. He dragged out his words as though haggling with a roadside vendor.
"What are you yelling for? Didn't you see what happened to the Four Heavenly Kings?
