He made no distinctions in his teachings and opened the gates of convenience wide. Whether one was a demon, devil, human, or ghost, as long as one was willing to take refuge in the Present-Moment Pure Land, he would accept them into the fold, grant them a Dharma name, and teach them Buddhist Dharma!

Such methods were immensely popular in the Primordial Wilderness.

And this philosophy of the present—which cultivated neither the past nor sought the next life, but only proved the present—was even more ruthless. It swept up the doctrines of the Three Ages Buddhas in one stroke.

Randeng, the Buddha of the Past, governed the past. Maitreya, the Future Buddha, governed the future. Tathagata, the Present Buddha, governed the present.

With one sentence—"The present is everything"—Universal Manifestation Tathagata had encompassed all the principles of the Three Ages Buddhas.

This was not blazing a new trail. This was digging at the foundation of the Buddhist Sect!

Unfortunately, there was nothing they could do.

No matter who acted, none of them could do anything to this Universal Manifestation Tathagata. In the end, they could only watch helplessly as he did whatever he pleased across the Western Land!
