As Gu Yuena arrived in Star Luo City seeking the dragons whose auras called to her, Ji Wushuang recognized her power and accepted her into Spirit Hall.

• Ji Wushuang accepted Zhu Zhu Qing’s oath of loyalty, taught her Shadow Plunder Step, and planned to help her and Dai Mubai challenge Star Luo’s succession.
• Ji Wushuang took Qian Renxue to the Star Dou Great Forest, where they encountered Bi Ji and Zi Ji before Qian Renxue killed a Light Giant and gained her sixth Spirit Ring and an External Soul Bone.
• Ji Wushuang returned to Spirit Hall and told Bibi Dong about Qian Renxue and Zhu Zhu Qing, while Bibi Dong warned him to keep Spirit Hall’s secrets from Zhu Zhu Qing.

• Ji Wushuang took Na'er in as his younger sister, while the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings offered to heal her damaged soul and asked him to bring her to their remains.
• Ji Wushuang and Bibi Dong began a secret relationship, and Qian Renxue later confronted him about Na'er before leaving with the Heaven Dou delegation.
• Ji Wushuang won his tournament by defeating the Soul Douluo and six Soul Saints, then flew after Qian Renxue when she departed for Heaven Dou City.
• Ji Wushuang met Qian Renxue in Heaven Dou City and devised a plan to implicate Xue Beng and Xue Xing in a palace takeover so she could claim the throne.

After reuniting with Qian Renxue and bringing Na’er and Ji Youyue to Heaven Dou City, he secured the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well from Dugu Bo and left him weighing a warning about Dugu Yan’s future.

• Ji Wushuang gave Qian Renxue sword manuals and returned to Spirit City, where Bibi Dong revealed her pregnancy and appointed him Acting Pope before entering seclusion.
• Bibi Dong gave birth to Ji Youyue, whose evil aura alarmed her, and Qian Daoliu used his Angel power to suppress it temporarily.
