"Anyone opposed? Then let's continue."
Yang Dingtian and Lei Potian began an inhumane looting spree.
Wherever they went, not a blade of grass remained.
They even pried several golden bricks out of the ground.
"Second Master, there's a hidden door here."
Lei Potian stood deep inside the hall, pointing at a mural.
The mural depicted a gold-devouring beast, its eyes two red gems.

Yang Dingtian walked over and punched the mural.

A blood-red talisman paper was pasted onto every jar, covered in twisted runes.
Faint sobs drifted from inside the jars, shrill and despairing.
"What is this..." Lei Potian's expression changed.
He approached a jar and reached out to remove the talisman paper.
"Don't touch it!" Yang Dingtian grabbed him.
"This is a Soul-Gathering Jar. What's inside isn't wine—it's a living soul."
Though Yang Dingtian usually looked simple-minded, he possessed the inherited memories of a divine beast.
He had seen such sinister things in those memories.
"A living soul?" Lei Potian sucked in a sharp breath.
"What is the Myriad Treasures Merchant Association trying to do? Refine an evil weapon?"
"No. Something even more vicious."
Yang Dingtian stared at the jars, golden flames
