Raised within the Sacred Artifact

Before receiving his name, the Golden Fur Divine Ape was kept in Yang Lingtian’s low-grade Sacred Artifact space. Yang Lingtian periodically fed him heavenly treasures while raising him there. 105

After reaching the Nascent Soul Realm’s third layer and taking human form, the ape asked to leave the artifact space to gain experience. Yang Lingtian named him Yang Dingtian and agreed to take him along. 146

Divine Beast inheritance

Yang Dingtian broke through to the Human God Realm during a heavenly tribulation in the Outer Void. 745 Chen Yiyue later explained that the Golden Fur Divine Ape was a king among Divine Beasts and that he possessed the potential to become a Supreme.
