The Destroyer revealed a glimpse of its might
Loki, as the controller of the Destroyer boss, is too far removed from the battle.
He also lacked Heimdall's divine eyes that could see through the Nine Realms, and could only understand the situation through the Destroyer's narrow perspective.
Therefore, Loki was unaware of the specific circumstances at the scene, let alone that there were two henchmen hiding behind Abomination.
But he knew that the existence of Abomination was making the situation worse and could not continue like this.
So he stopped worrying about the Destroyer's divine power consumption and stopped letting it lock onto any enemies, instead frantically spinning around and firing Destruction Beam at the surrounding area.
After consuming a massive amount of divine power, the Destruction Beam swept away the entire town.
In that instant, the energy released by the Destroyer exceeded that of Hiroshima by dozens of times. The main attack method of the Destruction Beam is to destroy matter, and only a very small part of the energy heats up or even explodes due to leakage.
However, even a tiny percentage of energy leakage after the massive output reached the energy level of a mushroom bomb, causing the sand in the town and surrounding area to melt or even evaporate, creating a terrifying Fireball.
The Fireball eventually transformed into a soaring yellow mushroom. The enormous mushroom head was composed of silicon dioxide vapor, which condensed upon contact with the cold air as it rose, turning into a rain of molten glass that fell down.
In an instant, the battlefield transformed into a lava Hell, with molten glass flowing everywhere and flames erupting in its wake.
Everyone, including the Abomination, frantically fled, trying to escape the environment where they could no longer fight.
Only Shazo, holding Skye, hovered in the air, using Electromagnetic Force to bind the surrounding air, forming a spherical safety zone with a diameter of 20 meters.
Outside this range, Electromagnetic Force repelled the falling molten glass rain, the rising hot air, and even blocked the infrared radiation radiating from the sky.
With convection and radiation transmission channels cut off, the high temperature could not enter the safe zone, and the temperature around Shazo and Skye remained a mild 26 degrees Celsius.
Shazo did want to bring Abomination into the picture, but unfortunately, Abomination was too heavy and refused to wear clothes woven with metal wires. In the high-temperature environment, the weakened Electromagnetic Force could not lift him up.
With Shazo's current control over Electromagnetic Force, the limit is that he can block air convection and infrared radiation; he cannot stop the temperature conduction that occurs through the ground.
If they cannot lift up their Abomination and suspend it in the air to insulate it from the high temperature, then all three of them will be troubled by the high temperature on the ground.
Looking at the terrifying scene before him, which resembled Hell, Shazo sighed, "This is the true face of the Destroyer. The previous battles were just like playing house."
Skye nodded solemnly. "Yeah, before, they were playing ping-pong with melee weapons, and it took them ages to destroy half the wooden houses in the town. I was a little underestimating Asgard's skill level."
"Now, this scene does resemble the scene of the Lord of the Nine Realms launching a war."
Shazo said, "We can't underestimate these aliens. Although they seem stupid, even childish, when fighting, it's all a misconception caused by the spiraling increase of power."
"For example, this Destroyer, the large-scale destruction it's causing now is actually just Little Ichi the energy leaked out due to its inadequate technology after releasing its terrifying divine power."
"The true power of the Destruction Beam lies in its absolute Oblivion of matter, targeting the phase matter armor of certain advanced civilizations, or the dimensional overlapping skin of Universe Gods."
"Our region's nuclear weapons, even when hitting those entities with their so-called high temperatures, high radiation, and shockwaves, couldn't even leave a scratch."
Skye took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled, and said, "I understand, boss. I won't underestimate them anymore."
After the battle, Skye unconsciously developed a touch of arrogance: Asgard's highest level of warfare and strongest Gods were fighting like ancient barbarians. Just what made them so powerful?
After being lectured by Shazo, she finally realized that it wasn't that Asgard's civilization wasn't powerful, but rather that she couldn't sense its power.
It's like the East University and the United States playing a game of Chu and Han, but neither of them would use their military force against the indigenous people of the South America rainforest.
The natives, who knew nothing about modern weapons, would also think that the Chinese and American soldiers were not strong at all, at least not as good as the natives in hunting, archery, hunting, and enduring hunger.
Asgard is truly powerful. The Bifrost that just sent the Destroyer here is actually Asgard's planet-destroying cannon!
When Odin is awake, he only needs to give a command to allow Heimdall to use the stored divine power of Asgard to expand the multicolored beam of light from ten meters in diameter to thousands of kilometers in diameter.
The energy carried by the beam was enough to melt Earth's crust, turning it into a red magma planet.
So, the scene before us was essentially like emptying a belt of ammunition and then scalding someone with a red-hot gun barrel—a classic example of wasting a great deal of resources.
After this outburst, the Destroyer drove back all its enemies.
But Loki, having achieved his goal, did not feel relieved; instead, he felt resentful.
He, the god of intrigue in Asgard, who wielded Gungnir's power and controlled Asgard and Asgard gods, was forced by an incredibly ugly monster on Earth to allow the Destroyer to squander his divine power in order to gain a slight advantage in battle.
What a disgrace!
Loki grew angrier the more he thought about it. He slammed his fist on the armrest of Odin's throne a few times and roared, "Damn it, where did this monster come from? How can it be so troublesome?"
"I'm going to kill them, kill everyone!"
"You all deserve to die for opposing me, Loki, the Loki of the King of Asgard!"
After making his threats, Loki calmed down and began to think about how to solve the problem.
The Destroyer's massive outburst just now did not kill a single person.
The town's civilians had been evacuated by S.H.I.E.L.D.. long ago, but since nothing happened for a few days, a few stubborn guys secretly slipped back.
But after seeing the other half of the town burned, no one dared to continue their stubbornness, and they all retreated with the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. who had completed the rescue work.
The Warriors Three ran away with the Abomination. Although they were slightly affected, they were all thick-skinned and did not suffer serious injuries.
Thor, whose divine power was sealed, couldn't run fast, but embarrassingly, he was carried on Sif's shoulder and out of the attack range.
Just as Loki how to break the deadlock, a fierce wind howled across the battlefield, and a biting cold wave surged in.
The silicon dioxide vapor cooled rapidly, turning into glass beads of various sizes that fell from the air.
Immediately afterwards, the moisture in the air condensed into heavy snowflakes, which fell from the sky.
But before the snowflakes could fall to the ground, the crimson lava was forcibly drained of its heat by the sudden cold wave, solidifying into green glass.
Shazo used the Ninjutsu [Ice Style: Ice Age], which transformed the lava-covered desert into a glacier-covered polar region in just a few seconds.
The sudden change in the battlefield environment left the Asgardians dumbfounded, and Loki, far away in Asgard, was even more bewildered.
But Abomination was not stunned. He had witnessed the boss's earth-shattering power more than once, and had even practiced tactics for changing battlefield environments more than a dozen times.
Without uttering a word, he charged forward, heading towards the target location that Shazo had indicated with the snowflakes.
As the charge accelerated, the Abomination Qi Force gathered on the surface of his body, quickly coalescing into a raging bull, growing faster and faster, and more and more powerful.
Amidst the swirling snow, Abomination could not see the enemy's location, but the drifting snowflakes not only guided the way but also transformed into numbers, indicating the countdown to the impact.
When he saw the number 1, he resolutely lowered his head and activated this martial skill with an exceptionally long pre-cast animation.
[Mud Bull Enters the Sea]
The powerful, Qi Force bull, almost tangible, slammed into the Destroyer's waist, yet the terrifying impact did not produce a violent shock or loud noise.
The seemingly ferocious bull possessed incredible flexibility, transforming into a supple filament the moment it came into contact with the Destroyer, clinging tightly to the towering metal monster.
Only with such a soft, close contact can the full force of accumulated Abomination be applied precisely to the Destroyer.
Once the skill [Mud Bull Enters the Sea] is mastered to a minor level, all the power will be evenly distributed around the target, while simultaneously squeezing inward from all directions, leaving the enemy no chance to dissipate the force.
In this way, the enemy is trapped in a quagmire and can only obediently endure 100% of the power.
Even with the Destroyer's physical strength, it was still squeezed and deformed after being hit by [Mud Bull Enters the Sea]. Thousands of armor plates squeezed and rubbed against each other, making a teeth-grinding noise.
Seeing that his attack had worked, Abomination roared with excitement, slamming his fists hard on the frozen ground to vent his emotions.
He then rushed forward again, grabbed one of the Destroyer's legs, and used a death roll throw to slam the massive Destroyer hard onto the ground, sending ice shards flying everywhere.
The impact was so powerful that it broke through the frozen ground, exposing the still-warm magma beneath. The crimson magma followed closely behind the ice powder, spraying up in a striking red and white display.
Then, with the help of Shazo and Skye, Abomination perfectly avoided the Destroyer's angle of observation and beat it senseless.
Loki, who was behind the Destroyer, was also completely lost; he didn't even know what had happened.
Seeing that the Abomination had effectively suppressed the Destroyer, the Goddess Sif and the Warriors Three, who had been stunned by the sudden change in the environment, came to their senses. They mustered their fighting spirit a hundredfold, brandished their weapons, and charged forward, unleashing a frenzied barrage of attacks on the Destroyer.
A barrage of clanging and banging erupted, and the Destroyer was completely at a disadvantage.
In Asgard, Loki frantically spun Gungnir, trying to help the Destroyer escape his unfavorable state.
However, Loki's primary profession is that of a sorcerer, and he naturally dislikes direct combat. Therefore, he severely lacks experience in chaotic battles and close combat. The more anxiously he manipulates the situation, the more he interferes with the Destroyer.
Uru gold is touted as a virtually indestructible metal, but that is ultimately "virtually" rather than "absolutely."
The Abomination and the Warriors Three were indeed insufficient to shake the Destroyer's armor plates, but the Goddess Sif was different.
She is one of the best among the Asgardians, not only stronger than the Valkyries, but also possessing Divine Sword whose power far surpasses that of standard weapons.
When the Goddess has enough time to gather her divine power and strikes the Destroyer with all her might, she will be able to sever the gleaming silver armor plates.
The Destroyer is an armor made of plates, totaling 1300 plates. The damage of a few plates will not have much of an impact, but as the battle continues and more plates are damaged, the divine power driving the Destroyer begins to leak out.
The Destroyer was already heavily weakened, and the leak of divine power only made things worse, causing its combat ability to decline rapidly.
As a result, the situation became increasingly favorable to Earth.
Just as everyone was beaming with joy and preparing to welcome the impending victory, Shazo slowly frowned.
He felt a sense of unease, and the resulting danger was growing stronger, yet he couldn't quite grasp the source of that danger.
Shazo stopped his attack and looked around, searching for clues that might make him uneasy.
Neither the Warriors Three of Asgard nor the Goddess Sif were among them; even when they focused their minds and elevated their spirituality, they felt no sense of danger.
Abomination, no.
Skye, no.
Destroyer, there is!
When Shazo focused his spiritual energy on the Destroyer, he indeed sensed a dangerous aura, but this Destroyer already had many wounds, was not the key.
It is the specific tool for realizing danger, but not the source of danger.
There was another danger at the scene, and it was the source of that danger!
Shazo began to feel nervous. He looked around but couldn't find his target.
As time went on, Shazo's sense of danger became more and more obvious, and he even started to break out in a cold sweat. He finally found the guy he had forgotten on the edge of the battlefield - Thor.
In fact, Shazo's attention was always partly on Thor, because he had received payment from the old man's Pops and had to protect the 1500-year-old child in the battle and prevent him from getting hurt in the slightest.
Because of the previous close monitoring, Shazo overlooked him multiple times due to the blind spot under the lamp.
When Shazo realized his mistake and focused his attention and spirituality to observe Thor carefully, he immediately sensed the subtle but terrifying danger.
This shows that the danger did indeed originate from Thor, but he did not cause this terrible danger.
"Damn it, why is this happening?"
Shazo gathered his power, muttering to himself, "What kind of danger could be caused by Thor, but not by him, and instead carried out by the Destroyer on the other side?"
"Was my intuition wrong, or was there someone above both sides present, aware of all the dangers?"
"Etc!"
Shazo realized there really was someone. No, it was a god.
All-Father Odin!
If we exclude Odin himself, Skye, and Abomination, the common rulers of both sides in the current battle, including Loki far away in Asgard, are all Odin's sons or subjects.
