A nuclear missile from behind

In the dimly lit room, only the round table in the center was illuminated by a light.

Captain America and Hulk tried their best, but they couldn't even touch the machine, let alone the rooftop where it was located, let alone move it.

When Stark found out, he rushed over and fired a powerful shot from his chest cannon, but the machine was unharmed.

When the Avengers summoned Thor, he said, "No need to try. This is the Space Stone's self-protection mechanism. It and the machine that activated it are no longer in this space; they can't be touched at all."

Loki, whom he had dragged over, laughed heartily, "Don't even think about it. Once the Space Stone is activated, it's invincible. Nobody can touch it."

Loki stared at him blankly. "Huh?"

Thor asked in surprise, "Weren't you being controlled by Loki? How could you betray him?"

Erik was utterly bewildered. "What do you mean by betrayal? As a scientist, it's common sense to prepare an emergency stop button or self-destruct system for the machines you create!"

Stark nodded repeatedly. "Yes, that's necessary."

Loki was dumbfounded. "Are all you scientists from Midgard crazy?"

Stark & Erik: "No, this is a fundamental attitude of responsibility towards the Earth and human civilization."

Natasha sighed. "So the question now is, where is that Scepter?"

Captain Steve decisively ordered, "Everyone, disperse and search. Hawkeye, you continue interrogating Loki. We'll stay in touch."

Just then, a violent explosion erupted in the Spatial Passage.

The Shazo Legion's drones were destroyed in droves, and tall, strong Chitauri warriors emerged from the flames and smoke.

They were more robust than the previous Chitauri soldiers, their armor was larger and thicker, and their demeanor was more fierce and composed; they were clearly elite soldiers.

According to Marvel's Universe, these soldiers wielding Laser swords, Laser halberds, and other melee weapons are powerful beings who are close to being the Superstar.

When a drone approaches and explodes near these Chitauri soldiers, a layer of iridescent patterns appears on the soldiers' armor, blocking the shockwave and Steel Balls from the explosion.

When these soldiers brandish their melee weapons, a dazzling beam of light appears, detonating all drones in its path.

A dozen elite Chitauri warriors annihilated the drones surrounding the exit of the Spatial Passage, reopening the tunnel and allowing more elite warriors to emerge from it.

There were even gigantic monsters that were more than twice the height of elite warriors.

Clearly, the Chitauri were serious; they were unleashing their true power.

Upon seeing the monsters that were over 4 meters tall, Hulk instinctively sensed a threat and let out a deafening roar to demonstrate his power to these formidable enemies.

Not far away, the yellowish-brown Abomination the Roar, venting their resentment and fear.

Then, Abomination was slapped down by Shazo: "What are you yelling about? You're only fighting one monster at most. Shouldn't you be hiding yourself?"

Shazo then looked at Norman Osborn: "Norman, blast them down! If a hundred aren't enough, send a thousand. If a thousand can hold them off, send ten thousand!"

"Yes, Mr. Shazo!"

After this incident, the Chitauri remained inactive for a long time.

The Chitauri reappeared were once again cannon fodder soldiers riding individual flying machines, seemingly intending to use sheer numbers to exhaust the Earth's weapons and equipment.

The war situation has returned to a stalemate.

Seeing this, Nick Fury breathed a huge sigh of relief, "It's all right now."

The United States is the World's Number One's strongest military power. The Battle of New York was merely a case of the enemy directly tearing out its heart, not a destruction of its own armed forces.

As long as the front lines can hold out for a few hours, the powerful US Military will continue to arrive.

That Space-Time Passage, barely 50 meters wide, limited the aliens' truly powerful weapons and equipment; they simply couldn't defeat the US Military with their existing forces.

As for what happens after the US Military confronts the Chitauri, that's not his concern. S.H.I.E.L.D.. is an intelligence agency, not a military responsible for war.

Just as Nick Fury was relaxing in his boss's chair, a warning suddenly came from the monitor: someone had started up two Quinjet.

After Stark passed through the Space-Time Passage, he had no chance to control the Nuclear Missile to attack the Chitauri mothership and could only watch it explode at the entrance of the Spatial Passage.

Because the explosion point is in the vacuum of Universe, the enormous energy of nuclear fusion cannot form shock waves and high temperatures; most of the energy can only be released through radiation.

For a nomadic race in the Universe, this level of radiation is not a threat at all.

Conversely, because the explosion point was too close to the Spatial Passage, the powerful radiation not only burned Stark's suit but also passed through the Spatial Passage.

High-energy radiation entered the Earth, Ionization the Liao Kong and transformed into extremely strong electromagnetic radiation, which spread over New York and burned out all electronic components within a 25-kilometer radius.
