Starting from Hokage, becoming stronger through my own efforts, Chapter 508

After defeating this wave of Heroic Spirit, Thor anxiously said, "We must find Hela as soon as possible and stop her from resurrecting the souls of Asgard's past heroes."

"Otherwise, we'll be facing an endless army of undead."

Thor's words carried a heavy tone; he did not wish to turn his blade against these former heroes, for that would be a desecration of honor.

Banner asked curiously, "These undead aren't very strong, but are they so numerous that they're difficult to deal with?"

Shazo saw Banner, he remembered his performance in the movie.

Yes, it's that scene where it "plops" down in front of Fenrir, a super classic moment that's incredibly funny.

Therefore, he can still remember a scene from the movie where Killer brings a group of Space Bandits to fight against the undead army, and the battle begins on the Bifrost.

Upon closer reflection, it becomes clear that the undead army was not particularly strong, especially in terms of numbers, which were even fewer than those in many zombie movies.

If we bring in a proper mechanized army, we could easily wipe out these undead.

"The number is indeed considerable." Valkyrie's expression was equally grim. She explained, "Asgard has a very long history, and the number of heroes who have died—I can't even imagine."

Banner turned to Thor and asked, "Thor, this lady hasn't experienced it and can't express it accurately. What I want to ask you is, can the number of the Superstar in Asgard throughout history compare to the Chitauri in the Battle of New York?"

Thor shook his head. "Not that many, but it's not a matter of quantity."

"These dead are our the Superstar, and they should not be awakened again because of ambition, and suffer the disaster of having their bodies destroyed."

Banner nodded in agreement. Asgard civilization placed great importance on heroes and honor, so he couldn't say anything more.

Valkyrie licked her lips and asked, "Our goal is to deal with Hela. We should try to lure Hela out so we can all gang up on her. Does anyone have a good idea?"

Thor pointed to the structure above the Royal Palace and said, "I believe Hela's goal is to become the Queen of Asgard. We can use that to lure her out."

Valkyrie asked, "What is it?"

"The Gungnir!" Thor declared firmly. "It is the supreme weapon that can only be wielded with Odin's authorization, representing the royal power of the Asgardians."

"To become the king of Asgard, one must wield the Gungnir!"

"Now that my father is dead, I am the only one capable of wielding the Gungnir."

"Follow me!"

Thor led his group into the main hall and headed straight for the Royal Palace.

Upon closer inspection, Shazo and Skye discovered that the palaces of Asgard were far more magnificent than they had appeared from a distance.

The enormous Royal Palace was not only resplendent in gold and exuding nobility and imposing grandeur, but its porches and rooms were also excessively tall and wide.

The space appears flat to accommodate giants, and its enormous size makes humans, who are no more than 2 meters tall, feel insignificant.

This is not surprising, after all, Odin's grandfather was a giant.

Thor was completely unaware of this and led the group forward, soon arriving at the throne in the main hall of the Royal Palace.

The litter scattered on the ground was quite jarring. After recognizing that it was fragments of murals, everyone unconsciously looked up at the palace dome.

It turns out that one layer of murals had been destroyed, revealing an even older mural hidden beneath.

In the mural, Odin holds his Shinsō, and standing beside him, raising his hammer Mjolnir, is Princess Hela.

Behind the two was the World Tree, which connected the Nine Realms Nine Realms, which were ravaged by war.

The painting style is sharp, with bright and bold colors, full of the feeling of blood and fire, which is incongruous with the magnificent palace and other paintings depicting peaceful scenes such as banquets, harvests, songs and dances, and celebrations.

But these hidden strokes of blood and fire should be the true essence of Asgard, because they are the victors of war, and therefore they are able to enjoy peace and prosperity!

Thor was completely stunned, his expression extremely complicated.

But he did not doubt the authenticity of the mural, even though Odin in the mural was so dark and ferocious, and his blood-stained armor made one feel as if they could smell the blood, which was completely different from the kind father in his mind.

However, this aligns with Odin's dying words, clearly indicating that Odin was indeed terrifying and monstrous before Thor's birth.

No wonder he was able to conquer the entire Nine Realms.

However, what attracted Thor's attention even more was the Mjolnir.

Looking at the mural of Hela wielding Mjolnir, Thor murmured to himself, "Mjolnir ----"

Thor realized that he really wasn't Mjolnir's first master. This sudden and undeniable truth brought Thor to a sudden realization.

Oh, well, the anxiety that had been building up has finally died.

When the heart dies, the pent-up emotions dissipate, which changes Thor's entire demeanor.

Thor's appearance hasn't changed; he still looks like a big, muscular guy. But his inner spirit has undergone a complete transformation, becoming entirely new.

Shazo even felt that his [Mantra] was distorted around him, and he could no longer hear the guy's thoughts.

Shazo laughed, "Now you're really looking like Thor! This is finally getting interesting!"

With this kind of Thor, he would be qualified to fight Death Goddess, or at least wouldn't be easily defeated.

Thor felt a sense of relief and strode toward Odin's throne, reaching out to grasp the Gungnir, a symbol of royal power.

Without breaking a sweat, Thor pulled the Gungnir from its slot beside the throne, then went to the center of the hall and Gungnir it to the ground.

The resounding bell echoed throughout the hall, its powerful sound amplified by the Royal Palace walls, instantly spreading throughout the entire Asgard.

To be honest, the sound was enormous, making everyone in the hall's ears go numb, but in the hearts of the Asgardians, it resonated even more powerfully, striking their very souls.

The bells echoing in the hearts of every Asgardians told them: This is the authority of the God-King! These are the bells of the coronation of the new God-King!

Hela was also Asgardians, so she naturally heard the bells of the Mind Stone.

Enraged, Hela burst into the main hall from the depths of the Royal Palace, and the first thing she saw Thor, sitting on the throne.

Hela's pupils contracted sharply; for a fleeting moment, she saw Odin's shadow in this brother she had never met.

Wow, no wonder they're father and son, they really do look alike!

Banner, Valkyrie, Shazo, and Skye were also standing in the hall, but Hela completely ignored them, her attention fixed on Thor, paying no attention to the others in the hall.

Hela gritted her teeth, looking as if she wanted to tear Thor to pieces, and said, word by word, "Get off my throne!"

Thor didn't stand up. His eyes flashed as he looked at Hela and said, "Hela, I know you're my sister. Strictly speaking, you are the first in line to the throne."

Believe it or not, I don't care about the throne. If you are truly more suitable for it than I am, I will definitely relinquish it voluntarily.

"What a pity! Your actions prove that you're no good, you're awful!"

"Heh, I didn't expect you to be so quick-witted." Hela laughed angrily, "Unfortunately, the throne is never decided by words, but by force!"

"Now, if you want to prove I'm unfit, then you'll have to stand up, step down from the throne, and prove it with the gun in your hand."

Thor shrugged slightly, stepped down from the throne, and stood in the center of the hall. "Hela, I see no trace of a king in you."

"But I see something disgusting on you!" Hela ran his hand through his black hair, and the long hair that hung down immediately transformed into a hideous antler helmet.

Her eyes were resolute and fierce. "Last time you escaped with Heimdall's help, but this time Heimdall can't help you. I want to see if you'll die!"

The next second, deafening shouts of battle erupted from the Royal Palace palace.

Hela Odinson and Thor Odinson brandished their weapons and engaged in a fierce battle.

Thor wields the Gungnir in both hands, while Hela carries twin swords formed from the Odinforce. Every clash in their battle is a contest and struggle for Odinforce, inevitably unleashing a terrifying storm of divine energy.

The awakened Undead Army swarmed over, only to be blown about by the divine storm, unable to get close to the battle.

Then these undead were crushed by the Hulk.

Hulk was still a child, and seeing these strange little people, his curiosity exploded. He dragged Dr. Banner into his Mind Stone and, after transforming, swept towards the undead.

Having mastered his training, Hulk needed no anger; relying solely on his power, he was like a terrifying steamroller, crushing countless undead.

It was crushed into bone fragments.

The chattering sounds excited Hulk, who burst into joyful laughter.

Valkyrie longsword can cut through iron like mud. Relying on her agile footwork, she closely follows Hulk and kills the undead who try to attack from behind.

Within three feet of the Valkyrie's body, there is no enemy capable of standing.

Hela's combat skills surpassed Thor's, and Thor was not adept at using a spear. Therefore, Hela had the capacity to observe the battlefield environment and witnessed the Hulk and Valkyrie's performance.

Hela raised her hand and swung her longsword, knocking Thor back. She praised him, "I didn't expect you to find such good helpers after just one trip out. Are they the reason you dared to defy me?"

Thor dodged the longsword aimed at his face, raised his spear again to thrust at Hela's face, and said, "No, my courage has always remained, within my heart!"

"It's all for Asgard!"

"Heh, what a stupid slogan!"

Hela sneered, and a series of sharp blades shot out from her hands, carrying an undisguised chilling killing intent, aiming straight for Thor's vital points.

These blades are formed from the Odinforce, imbued with Hela's pure magic, and even carry a faint aura of death. They can not only easily pierce the strong bodies of Asgardians, but also inject Death Force into the wounds, directly weakening or even killing them.

Every time Thor launched an attack, Hela would immediately counterattack, leaving him with bloody gashes on his body from her longsword, from which blood would gush out and never heal.

After suffering repeated losses, Thor was unable to launch any more attacks. Faced with the dense rain of swords, he could only wield the Gungnir with impenetrable force, trying his best to avoid being defeated.

After Hela returned to Asgard, she felt the Odinforce, magic, and divine power surging out of her body incessantly, and she was not worried about exhaustion at all.

She unleashed Odinforce and magic, condensing more and more blades that rained down like a storm, leaving Thor utterly helpless.

While maintaining her sword rain attack, Hela raised her swords with both hands and grinned as she approached Thor.

At this point, the situation on the battlefield was very clear: Hela held a complete advantage, launching attacks with ease and leaving Thor struggling to defend himself.

The two are in stark contrast; no matter how you look at it, Thor is no match for Hela.

However, no one noticed that Thor had not used the power of Leiting, nor had he activated the Inazuma contained within the Gungnir, nor had he triggered Sure Hit hit effects.

Clearly, this single-minded Thor is feigning weakness; Odin's death and the crushing defeat in the last battle have made him mature considerably.

Hela's strength is indeed formidable, and her power is steadily increasing. She walked up to Thor, suddenly accelerated, her longsword deflecting the Gungnir, and her five fingers gripping Thor's throat.

But the next second, she saw Thor's sudden sly smile and her heart skipped a beat, realizing something was wrong.

Unfortunately, the siblings were too close together, which was exactly what Thor wanted—an opportunity that he couldn't avoid no matter what.

Rumble!!

A surge of frenzied electricity erupted from Thor, merging with the Inazuma on the Gungnir, and with the guaranteed Sure Hit effect, it struck Hela squarely in the heart.

Hela, was tricked by Thor and struck squarely by the "Sure Hit" Inazuma, the divine Inazuma even piercing through her torso.

Boom!!

Hela's chest was vaporized by Inazuma, triggering a powerful explosion that blasted her away, sending her crashing into the golden wall like a cannonball.

Arcs of electricity emanating from Hela struck the walls and the ground, heating the non-conductive Rock to red-hot temperatures.

Just then, shouts of battle suddenly rang out outside the main hall.

Hearing the Mind Stone bells announcing the ascension of the God-King, the warriors of Asgard regained their fighting spirit and, led by their guardian Heimdall, launched a desperate counterattack, charging into the great hall.

Having been ravaged by the Hulk several times, the Undead Army had neither advantages in formation or organization, nor in numbers; all that remained was its fearlessness, making it no match for the Asgardians.

Most importantly, the new God-King demonstrated his stance through action; the warriors no longer held back, and the undead were naturally wiped out.

Upon entering the hall, the warriors saw Hela defeated by the Gungnir, and everyone raised their weapons, cheering "Long live Hela!"

Until— Hela dusted herself off and stood up again, completely unharmed!
