The morning dew had yet to fully dissipate, and a cool breeze drifted gently through the trees.
Two enormous ostrich-like creatures raced through the forest.

These large, two-legged birds ran surprisingly fast and steadily. They looked just like mounts from a game, which made them rather entertaining.
"Right? They're good companions to our people. We can't do without them," Mito said with a smile from nearby.
Both Ground Birds were laden with goods, but the weight seemed to be nothing to them. Mito had purchased all of these supplies early that morning.
Riding atop the Ground Bird, Kevin finally could not resist asking, "Your people... are the Kurta Clan, aren't they?"
