Kevin believed that Qiyou had spent long enough on the Dark Continent not to be foolish enough to misjudge an enemy's strength.
Much less foolish enough to deliberately provoke a Lord Level creature.
That made it very likely that they had encountered the Lord's attack by accident.
In response to Kevin's question,
Gon, Qishou, and the others began recounting what had happened, each adding their own part.
"I was the one scouting ahead at the time."
That was what Qima said.
His speed needed no explanation, so scouting naturally fell to him.
"I didn't get a clear look at whoever attacked me. They were fast—or rather, their attack was fast.
"By the time I sensed the danger and tried to react, I'd already been hit."
Kevin studied Qishou's current condition, paying particular attention to Qima's severed leg.
"So the enemy was aiming for your leg from the start, right? Rather than trying to kill you outright?"
Qima nodded.
"But with transmutation, I can now turn entirely into lightning for a short time to escape quickly. So even with only one leg, I still put distance between us incredibly fast, then ran without hesitation."
As Qikuang grew stronger, his lightning transmutation had continued to improve as well.
Starting with turning his Nen Aura into lightning, he had gradually become able to temporarily transform his body into lightning.

After listening to the whole account, Kevin nodded slightly and sat to one side to think.
