"I just said only Super Skrulls can disguise themselves as extraordinary beings. Ordinary Skrulls can't, even if it's a Super Soldier like Steve," Robet was saying, when he suddenly paused. He had thought of the differences and rules between the two universes.
"Of course, that's how things are in our universe. Your universe might be a little different, for all we know, so this isn't necessarily absolute."
As Robet's words fell, the Avengers' expressions changed. Though they still had some doubts about what he had said, the idea of the Skrulls' Secret Invasion was simply too threatening. They had no choice but to become alert.
But the problem was that everyone present had fought side by side through countless battles. It was truly hard for them to accept that one of their comrades might be someone else in disguise.
Yet after learning of it, their gazes instinctively turned toward the people around them, wanting to see whether anyone showed anything unusual.
"So you have a way to find a Skrull whose disguise succeeded?" Carol did not look toward the surrounding Avengers. She was not actually that familiar with them. Though she had once recognized a disguised Skrull before, she had no way to identify every disguised Skrull.
"I already found him." Robet shrugged and said with a smile, "After all, the Skrulls in our universe were all killed by me, including the so-called Super Skrulls. As long as you don't give them a chance, they're useless."
"You found him?" Carol's gaze finally turned toward the Avengers, and she asked with a grave expression, "If you want to expose him, will it require paying a heavy price? If that's the case..."
