The Clone and the Power of Time

Inside Avengers Base, Peter Parker and the others whom Tony Stark had originally called over were all there. They had initially been prepared to go support Tony Stark and the others, but Jarvis informed Peter Parker and the rest that Joker and Ra's al Ghul had already been captured, and that they no longer needed to rush over.

This left Peter Parker and the others a little bewildered. After all, when they had received the news earlier, they had thought it was either a terrifying dimensional incident on par with the Shadow-Devouring Soldiers incident, or something similar to an invasion by a powerful being from the Darkness Dimension. In the end, though, it now seemed a little like a thunderous start with a whimpering finish...

Of course, at most, Peter Parker and the others had made a wasted trip. Hancock and Mary, meanwhile, were still stationed on both sides of Avengers Base, maintaining their respective superpowers as they waited for the Avengers' next orders.
