Research Directions for the Monkey Talisman (Pre-release Announcement)

"Have you heard of Hydra?" Robet asked Jackie Chan and El Toro Fuerte, who had just regained their sight. He had clearly heard Jackie Chan say that these people were Valmont's men, but now they had turned into the seemingly crazy Hydra. Robet wanted to find out their identities.

"Hey, next time you're going to use flashbangs, could you at least let us know beforehand? My eyes are going to be blinded..." Jackie Chan complained as Robet approached, but after hearing Robet's question, he paused, a hesitant glint in his eyes, and muttered, "Hydra? Why are you asking about that? I think I've heard of it... wait, let me think..."

"Hydra? A monster from Greece mythology?" The El Toro Fuerte scratched his head, looking embarrassed. "My mother told me stories from Greece mythology when I was little..."

"Greece mythology? It doesn't seem impossible, after all, those guys seem to have been brainwashed, completely disregarding life and death..." Robet was nodding as he spoke when Jackie Chan suddenly looked over.

"Did you hear about Hydra from those people? Aren't they Valmont's men? Isn't Valmont a member of the Mafia? How did they become Hydra?" Jackie Chan frowned and asked seriously.

"That last guy shouted something like 'Hail Hydra' before he died. Was he crazy? If he hadn't shouted it, I wouldn't have known who he was. By the way, what exactly is Hydra?" Robet couldn't help but complain.

"Perhaps it's a matter of faith..." Jackie Chan shook his head and explained in a low voice, "I don't know too much about Hydra. I only know that it was an evil organization during World War II, far more evil than the Mafia. They caused a lot of chaos and wars around the world, and their ultimate goal was to rule the entire world!"

"However, based on the information I have, Hydra should have been eliminated long ago. How could it have reappeared, and with such a close connection to Valmont..."

"Even a centipede with a hundred legs doesn't die easily!" Upon hearing Jackie Chan's explanation, Robet immediately understood the HYDRA's role. Wasn't this the Red Ribbon Army of this world? It was indeed not easy to completely eliminate such an organization, not to mention that Hydra had the strange slogan, "Cut off one head, and two will grow back."

"This is a bit troublesome. If Valmont is really connected to Hydra, or if Valmont is Hydra, then their targeting of the Talisman probably has a deeper meaning!" Jackie Chan said, a hint of worry flashing in his eyes.

"The enemy is in the dark while we are in the light, so you don't need to be in such a hurry. Anyway, they are targeting the Talisman, so they will definitely appear again. When they appear, we can defeat them and find their lair, right?" Robet shrugged. He was too familiar with this method of fighting against villainous organizations: wait for the enemy to show up, then go straight to the enemy's lair, wipe out their forces, and finally wait for the retaliation of the remaining forces.

For Robet, Hydra's soldiers currently rely more on laser weapons. If Hydra could have some truly powerful individuals, Robet would be even more eager to join them!

"Here you go! I'll return the Talisman to you. I'll remember your kindness!" The El Toro Fuerte threw the Ox Talisman at Jackie Chan and said earnestly.

"What favor is there? You're much more powerful than me with the Ox Talisman. Without your help, I probably wouldn't have been a match for those guys..." Jackie Chan said with a smile, shaking his head as he took the Ox Talisman after regaining his senses.

Having received news of Hydra, Jackie Chan left in a hurry after receiving the Ox Talisman. One Mafia was already giving Jackie Chan a lot of trouble, and now with Hydra added to the mix, Jackie Chan felt that collecting and protecting these Talisman was going to be extremely difficult.

Fortunately, Jackie Chan only needed to collect the Talisman Talisman; he didn't need to worry about protecting them, as Talisman would be placed in what was known as the safest place in the world!

Meanwhile, at Valmont's base, Valmont received a message from Baron Strucker informing him that his entire army had been wiped out, even with laser weapons at their disposal.

"Strucker! Are you sure you're not joking?!" Valmont's eyes flashed with a cold light as he questioned in a deep voice, "So many excellent weapons and soldiers, all wiped out like this? Is the Ox Talisman really that powerful? Or are you trying to keep the Ox Talisman for yourself?"

"Valmont, calm down. We're partners in this matter of Talisman, so I can't possibly hide it from you..." Baron Strucker sighed helplessly and said in a low voice.

"Regarding the Talisman, it was originally your side that was in charge of the operation, and I was there to assist you in researching Talisman. That was the agreement from the beginning. When you asked me to borrow equipment this time, I didn't hesitate at all. Those are some of the few I have left, and I don't want my treasures to be destroyed like this..."

"So, it's the power of the Ox Talisman? The Ox Talisman is that powerful? Then you've been researching the Monkey Talisman for so long, and you haven't made any progress at all?" Valmont frowned. Just as the Talisman wasn't something he could consume alone, even if Baron Strucker Greed, it was wishful thinking to try and monopolize the Talisman, not to mention that the secret of the Demon Sorcerer statue had always been in his hands.

"My men detected energy fluctuations at the scene, but they weren't from our laser weapons. So, it's possible that someone from another faction has intervened. I'm still investigating..." Baron Strucker explained softly.

"As for the Monkey Talisman, I've made progress. The Monkey Talisman can transform a target into an animal, and I'm researching how to extract the power from this transformation and completely preserve the animal's abilities within our warriors..."

"By then, we will be able to create legions of Animal Warriors whose strength will far surpass those so-called Super Soldier!"

"What about the success rate? All factions have some of the Super Soldier Serum formula, and everyone is researching it. But although everyone has some successful Super Soldier, the lethality rate is just too high..." Valmont's eyes lit up slightly as he listened to Baron Strucker's rosy picture, but he quickly calmed down and asked.

"Hmm... the success rate is still not low. I prepared five hundred men, and now less than three hundred have died..." Baron Strucker paused for a moment, then said in a seemingly nonchalant manner.

"And what about the successful ones?" Valmont frowned and quickly asked.

"Perhaps among the next two hundred?" Baron Strucker murmured, then quickly changed the subject. "In my research, there should be some connection between the Monkey Talisman and the Rat Talisman. Don't worry about the Ox Talisman for now; find a way to get my hands on the Rat Talisman first. Then my plan should be able to succeed!"

"You make it sound so easy. You didn't even get your hands on the Ox Talisman. Do you think the Demon Sorcerer will be so easy to talk to? You're the one who gets mocked and insulted by him every time, aren't you?" Valmont.

"If you're willing, I can trade with you. You can introduce me to the Demon Sorcerer, and I'll deal with him!" Baron Strucker said with a knowing smile.
