A Means to Fulfill Potential?

With a hum!, as Robet's words fell, the beam of Bifrost light that had been shooting over at extreme speed went slightly off course, beginning to scatter in midair. The rainbow-colored radiance seemed to blur, because the Bifrost could no longer lock on to Thor and the others' exact spatial coordinates.

Even though Thor and the others were right there, and even though the Bifrost was not far from them, that blur in their spatial coordinates still prevented the Bifrost from crossing the final stretch. Even if Thor and the others jumped onto the Bifrost's light, they would not be able to leave through its power.

This was the effect of spatial forces interfering with one another. The Guardian's spatial Portal power absolutely could not contend with the power of the Space Stone, and was even somewhat inferior to the Bifrost's spatial power.

But this was Earth's home ground, not the Bifrost's. And the Guardian did not need to clash head-on with the Bifrost and smash its spatial power apart. It was enough to interfere with the spatial coordinates so that the Bifrost could not take Thor and the others away.

"You really were prepared." Just as the Bifrost's light began to scatter, the All-Father Odin's voice rang out from the sky. His voice still carried a heavy majesty, but Robet heard it very clearly—the helplessness, frustration, and decline in the All-Father Odin's tone could no longer be fully hidden.
