"What are you talking about?" Hal opened his mouth, then looked helplessly at Wade and asked, "How many times have you said that since you got ugly? Even if you're jealous of my looks, you can't maliciously attack me and curse me. What decent person turns green all over and starts glowing green?"
With a whoosh, just as Hal's words fell, a streak of green light shot in through the window like lightning and swiftly burrowed into Hal's chest.
"What the hell?" Hal looked utterly baffled. The green light had just slammed into him hard enough to make his body jolt, so it definitely wasn't his imagination. More importantly, Wade had only just cursed him with green light, and then a streak of green light had happened to drill right into his body. If someone said there was no connection there, Hal absolutely wouldn't believe it!
"Don't eat the pickled radish!" But just as Hal was still confused, Wade cried out beside him, then started saying things Hal couldn't understand. "Right, this is the moment. I actually got to see this scene. Damn it, is my handsome face really going to be tied to green light?"
