The Difference in Treatment When Stealing Energy Batteries
Star-Lord was utterly helpless in the face of Drax's behavior, but there was nothing he could do. After all, Drax was the teammate he had chosen. Besides, he had already gotten used to Drax's reckless antics. Back when they had faced Ronan, Drax had charged in just as fearlessly.
The one thing Star-Lord had never quite been able to understand was that while Drax's strength could not exactly be called top-tier, he was still very much a brawny warrior-type fighter. A warrior like that did not necessarily have to carry an axe or a hammer, but at the very least, he really should not be using two short blades. What was a hulking guy nearly two meters tall doing playing dual-wielding swordsman? It was not like he had the attack speed for it...
"Waaahhh!" As Star-Lord silently roasted him, Drax let out a bizarre howl and drove the twin blades in his hands into the enormous monster's body, launching what amounted to a scraping massage of an attack.
Gamora and Nebula were not idle either. Strictly speaking, the weapons they used were somewhat similar to Drax's, either paired blades or a single blade. It was just that Star-Lord felt all those weapons put together were still not as useful as his blasters.

With Star-Lord wearing a confident smile, energy bullets shot from his and Rocket Raccoon's weapons one after another, blasting into the monster's body.
But to be honest, this monster really did have thick hide and tough flesh. Whether it was Star-Lord and Rocket Raccoon's energy weapons or the little scraping knives used by Gamora and the other two, none of them managed to inflict much of an injury on the monster. They could not even stop its advance
