In response to their praise, Leiyin merely smiled.
The two men's praise soon caused trouble.
"Exactly. Especially when we saw big brother destroy Krieg's three warships in an instant. We could hardly believe our eyes."

As they spoke, a man from the neighboring table walked over and stared at them maliciously. In a cold tone, he said, "You... What did you just say?"

It was still the man who had attacked Johnny. He continued, "I'm asking you, what were you just talking about?"
Joseph saw Johnny sprawled on the floor, while all these men were huge and burly. He could not help feeling intimidated, but he still summoned his courage and pointed his blade at them.

It turned out that these men were members of the Krieg Pirates. After receiving news that three of their warships had been destroyed, they had come looking for the people responsible.
They claimed to be the largest pirate crew in the East Blue. Their warships had been destroyed by someone else—if outsiders found out, where would that leave their pride? Thus, Krieg had spared no expense in sending large numbers of men to find the culprits and restore his reputation. The dozen men Leiyin encountered were merely a small portion of those dispatched.
By sheer coincidence, they had overheard the conversation while eating. Therefore, they intended to capture the three of them and give Krieg an explanation.
Following their leader's order, everyone charged at Leiyin and Joseph.
Seeing this, Leiyin's lips curved into a faint smile. He calmly drew his sword and said, "White Blade!"
The ninja sword suddenly swept through most of a circle. Nearly everyone who charged at them was cut across the abdomen or chest, leaving wounds deep enough to expose bone. Those struck collapsed onto the floor, all of them dead.
Leiyin still wore a smile. "As expected, White Blade is much more powerful when combined with a sword."
With that single slash, only two of the attackers remained. After witnessing such strength, how could those two dare fight? They fled in panic.
The people in the restaurant, whether servers or diners, had also been frightened into fleeing. Almost all of them were gone.
Joseph said to Leiyin, "Big brother, they're members of the Krieg Pirates. Hurry and chase down the remaining two and kill them, or they'll bring Krieg here!"
"No need to chase them. I deliberately spared their lives with that slash," Leiyin replied.
