Ace glared furiously at Blackbeard.

He had never expected things to turn out this way.

For the sake of some supposed opportunity, Blackbeard had actually done something like this.

He had been wondering all along what this was about.

Why had Blackbeard suddenly decided to make a move?

At first, Ace truly had not understood.

But now, Ace finally knew why Blackbeard had decided to act.

In the end, it was all for this so-called opportunity. But was it really an opportunity?!

He simply could not understand what Blackbeard had been thinking.

Sometimes, when he thought about it himself, it seemed like it really did not make sense.

He had never understood Teach's thoughts.

Nor had he known about Teach's ambition.

Had Teach hidden it too well, or had Ace simply never tried to understand?
