After giving Kong Daqian his instructions, Zhou Xu turned around and headed straight for the granary.

They had only just taken Yellow Sand City. With so many matters to handle, they had merely given the grain in the granary a rough inspection. Now that they had the time, naturally they had to conduct a more thorough inventory.

After all, this side connected to the mountainous region, where the roads were difficult to traverse, making logistical resupply troublesome for them as well.

If the grain reserves in this granary were sufficient, they could ease the pressure on their logistical forces considerably.

Not to mention that Great Zhou was currently in the middle of the spring plowing season. Every task related to spring plowing was keeping people busy, so anything that could reduce the need for labor, even somewhat, was a good thing.

The grain stored in the granary consisted mainly of rice. As for the other things, Zhou Xu glanced at them a few times but found nothing worth mentioning. They were all
