With a whisper, several new entries immediately appeared in the rewards column of the system screen.
Rhine immediately felt the changes these rewards brought to his body.
First came the Keen Ears and Clear Eyes and Body Like a Crane talents contributed by Filch. Rhine felt that his senses had become much sharper than before, allowing him to hear far more sounds.
Even his body had become lighter, and his steps more nimble than before.
Then came the All Things Manifest talent contributed by Professor McGonagall, and Rhine immediately felt the boost it gave his Transfiguration.
The transformations of all things seemed to surface in Rhine's mind as naturally as instinct.
Previously, with Rhine's magical power and mastery of Transfiguration, turning a table into a cat tree had already been his limit.
He was still far from being able to transform living creatures, but now, although his magical power had not changed, his mastery of Transfiguration had undergone a qualitative leap under the talent's enhancement.
He took a match left over from Transfiguration class out of his pocket and waved his wand.
The next second, a marvelous sensation rose in Rhine's heart. Then, the match transformed into a plump silkworm, which stared curiously at Rhine with its round little eyes.
Rhine waved his wand again, and the silkworm turned into a silkworm chrysalis wrapped in pure white threads.
When he waved his wand one last time, the chrysalis became a great blue morpho butterfly, fluttering its dazzling wings as it flew around the bathroom.
A moment later, it landed on Rhine's finger and turned back into that matchstick.
Delight appeared in Rhine's eyes.
It was not the Seventy-Two Transformations of the Primordial world, but the feeling of transforming all things was still truly wondrous, as though he were a creator.
