The demonic tide came crashing in, and Jieyin and Zhunti had once again chosen to protect the ley lines while abandoning the surface.
The result was easy to imagine. Demonic Energy poured ashore along the coast, spreading inland.
Nearly half of the Western Region was shrouded in Demonic Energy, leaving it without daylight.
Three figures flashed into existence along the coast of the West Sea.
They were Ancestor Hongjun, Laozi, and Nuwa, who had been startled by the astonishing Demonic Energy in the west.
"Hong Yun and Ancestor Dragon certainly fled quickly!"
Laozi's expression was grim. He had always been fiercely opposed to the Devil Dao.
"Where is Fellow Luo Qing?"
Nuwa asked in surprise.
"Hmph... Luo Qing must have discovered the two Demon Dao Saints long ago, yet chose to stand by and watch."
Ancestor Hongjun snorted coldly, deeply displeased by Luo Qing's neutral stance.
Laozi and Nuwa exchanged a glance.
Indeed, even the Heavenly Dao was under Luo Qing's control. If he wanted to learn the whereabouts of Demonic Hong Yun and Demon Ancestor Dragon, it would be far easier for him than for them.
The reason Luo Qing had left the two alone was probably to maintain a balance among the Immortal Dao Saints.

The three Sages all furrowed their brows.
They glanced toward Spirit Mountain and immediately understood Jieyin and Zhunti's intentions.
They were determined to complete the task of preserving and restoring the Western Region's ley lines, and had no intention of involving themselves in outside affairs.
"Forget it. Come with me. We'll first disperse the Demonic Energy below. Otherwise, this Western Region may become a breeding ground for demons."
