Background

Hun Tiandi was the Soul Clan's formidable leader and one of the Dou Qi Continent's peak Nine-Star Dou Saints. For a thousand years, Hun Tiandi pursued the opportunity to become a Dou God, regarding the return of Origin Qi and the Tou She Ancient God's Cave Mansion as the path to controlling the world 73 84.

A thousand years before the main events, Hun Tiandi fought Xiao Xuan, forcing Xiao Xuan to self-destruct. Their conflict was entwined with the collapse of the Xiao Clan, the Soul Clan's severe injuries, and the other ancient clans' opportunistic rise. Hun Tiandi later accused Gu Yuan and the Ancient Clan of deliberately allowing the Soul and Xiao Clans to destroy each other for their own benefit 84.

Personality

Hun Tiandi is ambitious, proud, and intensely competitive. The desire to restore the Soul Clan's glory and surpass the Dou Saint bottleneck drives many of the character's decisions, including the pursuit of Ancient Jade, Origin Qi, Dragon Pearls, and the Ten-Tails' power 73 84 97 135.

Hun Tiandi also possesses a calculating, coercive leadership style. The Five Elders surrender after being overwhelmed by Hun Tiandi's pressure, and Hun Tiandi promptly begins searching for the Dragon Pearls after learning they can grant wishes 97.

After the Winged Lovers Pill transformation, Hun Tiandi becomes emotionally unsettled around Xiao Xuan and begins acting in ways that confuse the Soul Clan, including releasing Xiao Zhan rather than executing him 87 90. In the later life as Di Hun Tian, devotion to Xiao Xuan outweighs self-preservation; Hun Tiandi willingly burns lifespan and soul to protect her 144 146.

Battle Against An Mingzi
