Several Factions
Lu Xiaotian called this use of spatial power "spatial confinement." It was similar to the space inside the Demon-Suppressing Tower, only far less stable.
He soon discovered another problem. Given his mastery of spatial power, the area he could cover seemed smaller than the area his Primordial Spirit could reach. As a result, its usefulness for monitoring the nine Heavenly Immortals was greatly diminished.
Still, it had its advantages. Within the space he isolated with spatial power, Lu Xiaotian found that his ability to sense the immortal aura of both friend and foe became stronger.
After spending a long time around Heavenly Immortals, Lu Xiaotian had also gained a deeper understanding of their grotto-heaven Dao realms. They fused their immortal essence with their Primordial Spirits, refined a portion of the world, and transformed it into a grotto heaven of their own. In a sense, this was somewhat similar to spatial confinement, though spatial confinement was more complicated.
So-called grotto-heaven-grade immortal artifacts were made by refining their owners' artistic conceptions into them. At that point, the artifacts ascended to another level and could begin cultivating on their own.
However, from a certain perspective, the grotto-heaven Dao realms cultivated by Heavenly Immortals—even when they refined a small world into a grotto heaven—were merely a way to better merge themselves with the world of the Immortal Realm and partake of more of the Celestial Court's fortune.
Lu Xiaotian's spatial abilities, by contrast, were like something independent of the Celestial Court, bringing space entirely under his own control.
As he kept experimenting and improving, Lu Xiaotian never tired of it, but he remained exceedingly cautious. Inside the Demon-Suppressing Tower, the Void-Piercing Ants and Realm-Breaking Insects had been squabbling every day ever since Little Fire Crow gave them new nicknames. To cause Little
