The ball of light in the sky rapidly shrank as a white figure slowly drifted downward, landing directly at the Barracks Command Center.

"Please inform them that Su Yunyi of the Imperial Royal Military Academy has come under Commander Li's orders to support the 319th Regiment."

The Young Man stood outside the tent, handsome and refined, his white robes fluttering. His voice was like a spring breeze, and a faint smile rested on his lips.

The soldier guarding the entrance had not expected the expert who had displayed such terrifying power moments ago to be so mild-mannered. He quickly nodded and said, "Yes, yes, I'll go right away."

"No need."

Legion Commander Dai Xianghe stepped out of the tent and laughed heartily. "Thank you, Young Master Su. Good thing you arrived in time. Otherwise, our 319th Regiment might really have been wiped out here."

As he spoke, Dai Xianghe glanced at the golden badge on Su Yunyi's chest. The badge was circular, its edges encircled by a ring of gleaming patterns forged from pure gold, with a sun-shaped gemstone set in its center.

"Young Master Su, please come in." Dai Xianghe lifted the tent flap and invited him inside.

Su Yunyi waved a hand and smiled. "Regiment Commander Dai, I see that quite a few members of your regiment have been injured. I happen to be rather skilled at treating wounds. You can gather the wounded together, and I'll treat them all at once."

Xiao Yunlong turned to Qin Dadi and Liu Zhaozhao, his face full of delight. "This is the first time he's ever thanked me."

It was just a thank-you. Was that really necessary?

Early the next morning, the Legion set out for Scorching Sun Valley.

Qin Tian leaned against the rear carriage, the Dragon Falcon Rifle at his feet as he toyed with a Red Steel Claw in his hand. He had stripped it from the Shadow Catman the night before.

The Shadow Catman had used it to tear straight through Yang Ling's armor, so it was clearly no ordinary item.

"I just compared and searched through the records. Judging by the patterns on the steel claw, this weapon should be forged from Blood Pattern Steel."

Xiao Yunlong moved closer to Qin Tian and said, "The model isn't suited for humans, so you can't use it. But you can turn it over to the Military Department in exchange for Military Merit Points. I reckon that, combined with the points you've already earned, you should have enough to exchange for a Rune Gun."

"A Rune Gun?"

"I heard that there are ten of the most powerful Rune Guns in total, known as the Ten Great Famous Guns. In the right hands, these Ten Great Famous Guns can even threaten Seventh Order, even Eighth Order Psionic Users. Isn't that terrifying?"

"They really are powerful."
