Dozens of warriors in bright yellow battle armor were surrounding and slaughtering a pack of stele demons.
The warriors worked in perfect coordination, forming battle formations that divided the demons into several smaller groups. They overwhelmed each group with numbers and destroyed them one by one.
Blades flashed and swords clashed, psionic fluctuations spilling in every direction. The demons' roars mingled with the warriors' battle cries, echoing across the empty wasteland.
The seventh-order master leading them held the center without fighting personally. Yet his psionic aura enveloped the entire battlefield, keeping the battle firmly under his control like an invisible giant hand.
Under his direction, the warriors moved with seamless coordination, advancing and retreating in orderly ranks. Although the stele demons were numerous, they could do nothing against such overwhelming tactics.
In barely the time it took an incense stick to burn, the final stele demon crashed to the ground, its pitch-black blood soaking the cracked earth.
Wahag Yunus raised his hand. As psionic energy surged, numerous stele spirit fragments flew from the demons' bodies like a swarm of fireflies, tracing arcs through the air before gathering in his palm into a single thumb-sized fragment.
He weighed the fragment in his hand, the corners of his mouth lifting into a satisfied smile.
