After experimenting and confirming that hurting herself had no effect on Bai Yang whatsoever, Sea King stood there, dumbfounded and utterly at a loss. She couldn't understand how things had ended up like this.
She had come by the Twin Flowers drug by chance, and it was the real thing. She had taken it herself, and she had personally slipped it into Bai Yang's tea earlier. Bai Yang had drunk it too. So why the hell hadn't it worked?
No, it had worked. When Bai Yang pulled out his hair, hers fell out too, proving the Twin Flowers drug was genuine. But that made no sense. Why had it failed when she tried it on herself?
"What did you do to me?" Completely baffled, Sea King stared blankly at Bai Yang and asked.
Bai Yang looked at her as though she were an idiot. "I should be asking you that. If you hadn't said anything, I wouldn't even know what was going on. What could I have done? Hey, you'd better pray nothing happens to me from now on. Otherwise, you'll be in for it..."
Good thing I have a Fruit Position protecting me, or I'd be the one crying right now, Bai Yang thought, feeling a little gleeful.
"I don't believe you! You must have done something! You—you—you have to give me back my freedom. I don't want to get dragged down with you..." Sea King was dumbfounded, convinced Bai Yang had tricked her.
"Oh, give it a rest. I don't have time to play around with you. We haven't even finished discussing the important stuff. Go sit in the corner." Bai Yang pursed his lips and ignored her.
