After Bai Yang entered that otherworldly space, light and mist surged across the lake, once again veiling its surface. The luminous, mist-shrouded woman sat cross-legged in midair above the lake. Everything was as usual, as if nothing had happened.
On the shore, the Great Moon King had fallen into an unconscious state of cultivation and knew nothing of what had happened here.
The entrance to this space was from below to above. In other words, Bai Yang had entered the space from the outside by descending beneath the water's surface. But once he truly set foot here, he discovered that he was standing on the surface of the water!
From where Bai Yang stood, everything was upside down. Through the water's surface, he could see the luminous mist below, as well as the Great Moon King sitting cross-legged on the shore, cultivating.
It was as if the little lake were a mirror, and Bai Yang had entered its interior from the other side.
He was standing on the lake's surface now. The surroundings were no different from before; he was still in the valley, and the mountains and terrain around him seemed unchanged.
His thoughts in turmoil, countless ideas flashed through his mind.
This really wasn't an ordinary natural wonder. It was the so-called Place of Enlightenment. In that case, it made sense that cultivating by the lakeshore could increase one's cultivation speed a thousandfold—it was the environment here that caused it.
That raised a new set of questions. Who was that woman made of light and shadow? What realm had she reached, and why could her Place of Enlightenment increase someone's cultivation speed a thousandfold? Could one cultivate at that speed here every day at a certain time, or did this effect only occur during some special period?
