With a direction in mind, Bai Yang was no longer lost, and he swiftly put his plan into action.
Sitting cross-legged before the immense Rule of Destruction, Bai Yang carefully studied one particular section of it. The Rule of Destruction was so vast that it seemed to fill the universe. Bai Yang could see only a tiny fragment, and all he could make out was destruction. Even so, he committed what he saw to memory, etching it deep into his heart.
Then he opened his palm. The Innate Tai Chi Bagua Diagram appeared, palm-sized, slowly turning, shrouded in mystery.
Closing his eyes slightly, Bai Yang fed the remembered image of that fragment of the Rule of Destruction into the Innate Tai Chi Bagua Diagram. A point of white light flew from between his brows, carrying the memory as it merged into the Taiji diagram.
In the next moment, the Taiji diagram in Bai Yang's hand spun rapidly. The Bagua symbols flickered, as though the secrets of heaven and earth were being calculated.
Bai Yang watched, tense and expectant. Whether he could reach the True God Realm soon depended on the Taiji diagram's ability to calculate.
The diagram spun and flickered faster and faster. At last, even Bai Yang could no longer follow it with his eyes. The Taiji diagram became a shifting mass of light and shadow.
At the same time, he felt his consciousness growing weak, and it was happening quickly. After all, the Taiji diagram's calculations consumed his mental energy.
It was easy to imagine how terrifying the cost would be of using his Heavenly Master Realm cultivation to calculate one of the Three Thousand Rules—the Rule of Destruction.
Fortunately, he was far stronger than others at his level. Otherwise, he would never have endured such a drain.
