It had a rule passed down since time immemorial: people could enter, but never leave. Once you set foot in the Tower of Eternity, all the things of the mortal world would be gone from your life!
But there was a saying: rules were made to be broken. The Tower of Eternity did indeed stand apart from worldly affairs, and it did indeed have a rule that allowed people in but not out. Yet when more than eighty percent of the Light Realm's strongest gathered there, even its ironclad rule had to be adjusted.
The patriarchs of the Dragon Race, Spirit Race, Insect Race, Beast Race, Winged Race, and Water Race were successively invited into the Tower of Eternity as honored guests.
Next, the eighteen leaders of the Heart of Light, the kings of the Magnolia Empire and the Sky Dragon Empire, the presidents of the four great academies, the heads of six associations, and a number of peerless powerhouses were all granted the privilege of entering as guests.
Those invited inside represented the small fraction at the very top of the Light Realm's pyramid. The Tower of Eternity had no choice but to treat them with caution.
As for everyone else, they received no such privilege. They could only wait at various spots outside the Tower of Eternity.
