The only regret was that after completely occupying this star cluster, the Empire had failed to trigger the Civilization Promotion mission. Clearly, it still hadn't fulfilled all the hidden requirements.
"So far, we've discovered a total of 41 Mirror Civilizations within the Empire's territory. Unfortunately, even the strongest among them is only at the peak Super Civilization level—not even as advanced as the Empire is now. Naturally, they have no clues about advancing to an Energy Civilization, either," Liu Yun said regretfully.
"It seems the Empire won't have any chance to advance for at least some time."
"Even if we had the chance, we still couldn't advance. Have we already reached the point where we can't progress any further, whether in terms of Technological Level or Psionics?"
"Not really, is it? We can only build the smallest model of stellar ship right now, let alone something like an Origin Force stellar ship. We're nowhere near that yet." Conilia, for her part, took it in stride.
"An Energy Civilization is a civilization of legend. The High-dimensional Demons and the Starfolk we've encountered so far only count as half of one, and both are inherently flawed. A true Energy Civilization can't be so easy to attain."
The Empire had existed for over 300 years. To have developed this far was already like a dream. The Gods discussed it briefly before quickly setting the matter aside and turning their attention to the massive development project in Triangulum.
In this rather unremarkable star system, a rare development boom had begun. Through the Star Gate System, trillions of clones traveled aboard starships, spreading into the less-developed regions of the entire star system. Countless Transport Ships carried NPCs and Raw Materials, supporting the rapid development of the whole system.
Almost visibly, one star system after another
