"If that's the case, I suggest that once the Protoss reinforcements arrive, the Expeditionary Fleet should head straight for the enemy's heart, the Zerus Star System, and find and kill the Overmind. Whatever schemes they have, they'll be forced to set them in motion early," Link proposed after giving it a moment's careful thought.
"The longer we wait, the worse things will be for us."
"I agree," Wei Peng immediately said. As the Lord of War, he understood better than anyone the essence of a strategy that struck straight at the enemy's heart, especially when their opponent had a Chaos God skilled in schemes and intrigue: Tzeentch.
"I agree, but we shouldn't wait for the Protoss. We should leave now!" Lin Zhichen glanced toward the Galactic Core Area. "Our old friends already know we're here. They're speeding things up."
The Gods grew solemn. Those "old friends" could only be the Chaos Gods. If those creatures completely corrupted the Overmind, it would spell disaster. The entire Zerg race would fall under the control of the four great evil gods. That would give the Chaos Gods a foothold in the Material Realm, making them a far greater threat to the Dragon Soul Empire than they were now.
With that in mind, the entire Expeditionary Fleet stopped lingering. While the Zerg in the system were distracted by the Aether Dragon, the three Titan Ships quickly formed Warp Bubbles and set course for the Galactic Core Area.
With the Mother Ship Star leading the way and navigating for them, the three Titan Ships were able to turn in time and avoid the stars in the Material Realm.
That was the drawback of Warp Drive. It was fine in deep space, but inside a star system, one careless mistake could send a ship crashing into
