Background / History

Link is one of Lin Zhichen’s brothers and an early member of his inner circle. When Lin Zhichen begins preparing a Psionic Trooper Unit, he includes Link among the brothers whose crews and futures he intends to develop. 10

During an expedition through the Dakan Galaxy, Link accompanies Lin Zhichen aboard the Qin Yuan. He reacts with amazement to their discoveries in the starship graveyard, then recognizes the strategic value of a rescued Red Blueprint draftsman after Lin Zhichen explains it. 25 26

Lin Zhichen later gives Link a Ghost Eye Crystal—an Evil Spirit remnant containing soul- and death-aligned power—to accelerate his psionic attribute conversion. Link identifies its danger immediately, fearing its intense radiation could corrupt his will.
