The Gods looked at one another, speechless for a moment, but they were all patient enough to wait quietly for the Governor's Mansion's report.

The entire galaxy had undergone a drastic transformation, with two galaxies merging. Such a monumental change was difficult for the Gods to process all at once.

Just then, several cries of surprise rang out from the Hall of Gods. They looked up and saw more than a hundred Star Spirits surrounded by radiance. With each breath, their bodies grew another size, swelling to several times their original size in just a few breaths.

Most of the Star Spirits in the Empire had been born too recently. A few hundred years was insignificant compared to their endless lifespans, and the path of knowledge was so difficult that several centuries were nowhere near enough for newly born Star Spirits to advance further. As a result, most were still at the Initial Sage level.

But after this wave of merging ended, their companions looked on enviously as they realized that some of their peers, who had been at the same level as them, had quietly advanced to the Mid-level Sage Realm thanks to this stroke of fortune.

"The Gaia Planet we merged with grew. Its size at least doubled," one Star Spirit stood up and replied after a brief exchange.

His explanation sparked a discussion in the Hall of Gods. Liu Manyun nodded in understanding. "Following that line of reasoning, once we purify the Dark Empire, all of us will advance."

As copies of the Dragon Soul, all the galaxies currently belonging to the Empire were bound to exist within the vast territory of the Dark Empire. So, as long as they purified all the Corrupted Galaxies, all five hundred-plus galaxies in the Empire would undergo corresponding changes.
