The Science Hub, like the Giant Art Facility, was a space megastructure as large as a planet. The difference was that the Science Hub was a massive research center. Once completed, it could increase the entire empire's research capacity by 15%,

while the Giant Art Facility was more like an opera house, or a grand stage—somewhere that welcomed guests from across the nation and even the entire Milky Way Galaxy, boosting national pride and international influence.

The Hyperspace Relay was different. It was a creation of a Super Civilization, one that could only be built after gaining a deep understanding of spatial and quantum spacetime technologies.

What made it special was its ability to transport an entire fleet from one star system to an adjacent one in just a few minutes, then send that fleet on to the next neighboring star system in the following few minutes—all on the condition that Hyperspace Relays had been installed in all three systems.
