Perhaps they had never truly controlled their own fate.
"Secretary-General, you made the right decision. Every civilization will receive at least three Life Planets. That is a promise made personally by His Majesty, the Empire Emperor!" Link nodded in satisfaction, then gave them a formula:
"Use this to calculate your Spacetime Coordinates. We'll use Spatial Teleportation to go directly aboard the Dawn."
As he spoke, he sent over a complicated formula. The Resistance Army's mathematicians immediately got to work, beginning their tense calculations.
The process involved nothing more than plugging the spacetime measurements into the formula. Though it was complicated, the calculations themselves weren't difficult. They finished working out the Spacetime Coordinates in just a few minutes.
When the data was sent back, the Resistance Army generals held their breath, watching the Holographic Projection of the inside of the Dawn's hangar.
The Spacetime Coordinates all pointed to sections of the ship near the breach. The goal was to save the Imperial reinforcements time and get them into battle at the earliest opportunity. There might also have been a few ulterior motives they couldn't voice.
One Quantum Space-Time Tunnel after another opened in rapid succession. Ghostly shadows solidified in a mere second. The aliens watching, dumbstruck, saw people appear out of nowhere in the empty compartments: burly warriors clad in full-body armor, one after another, aboard the Dawn.
"Beep. ACS1073 Terminator Squad has arrived at the coordinates. No enemies detected. Standing by."
A Terminator warrior appeared inside the compartment, over three meters tall, clad in super-heavy Power Armor and carrying a heavy Boltgun. In groups of three, they swiftly formed a Combat Formation.
Hundreds of hovering, soccer-ball-sized intelligent drones darted around the compartments, gathering information from the surrounding areas and relaying it to the Terminator Power Armor. There, the tactical AI
