• Hu Liena obtained her Sixth Soul Ring from a Bewitching Heart Fox, and Xiao Ze introduced his idea for Soul Spirits.

Xiao Ze established the Soul Spirit system, reconciled Bibi Dong and Qian Renxue, and strengthened Spirit Hall as Tang San faced rejection from the Clear Sky Sect. The arc ended with Spirit Hall mobilizing against the sect and Tang Yuehua held captive.

• Xiao Wu sacrificed herself to spare the Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape, but Bibi Dong killed both beasts and absorbed their Hundred Thousand Year Soul Rings.
• Xiao Ze began developing Soul Spirits with Biji and the God of Agriculture, while Spirit Hall built Soul Spirit Towers and trained Contract Masters.
• Xiao Ze helped Bibi Dong form a contract with the Death Spider Emperor, and he later formed his own contract with Biji, gaining her Right Arm Bone and reaching level eighty-six.

Shui Yue’er gained the Sea God’s inheritance and the Ice Empress as her Soul Spirit, defeated the Sea Pillar guardians, and paused before her Sixth Trial while Tang San continued pursuing godhood.

• Xiao Ze’s forces destroyed the Clear Sky Sect and defeated Tang Xiao, while Tang Yuehua survived as its sole survivor.
• Spirit Hall conquered the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Sect, and Yu Luomian took charge of rebuilding it with Bibi Dong’s support.
• Qian Renxue defended Heaven Dou City against Spirit Hall’s attack, revealed her true identity, and helped Xiao Ze’s forces subdue the empire.
• Xiao Ze and Bibi Dong conquered the Star Luo Empire, completing Spirit Hall’s unification of the continent.
• Xiao Ze’s group traveled to Sea God Island, where Shui Yue’er received the Sea God Nine Trials and began climbing the Sea God’s steps.

Xiao Ze and his allies gained several God Positions while expanding their power across the continent. After a village massacre exposed Tang San as the killer, Xiao Ze’s forces cornered him, but Asura God intervened and Tang San escaped.

• Shui Yue'er pulled the Sea God's Trident free and passed her Seventh Trial, then the group returned to the Spirit Hall Empire and chose Soul Bones.
• Xiao Ze received the God of Agriculture’s inheritance and traveled with his companions to find Soul Spirits and other God Positions.
• Shui Bing'er received the Ice God inheritance, while Huo Wu gained the Fire God inheritance and brought Bo Saixi to the Water God, who accepted her as an inheritor.
• Ning Rongrong received the Star Goddess’s inheritance, and Ye Lingling received the Goddess of Revival’s inheritance as Xiao Ze completed his agricultural trials.
• After reports of a village massacre reached Spirit Hall, Tang Xiaoxia identified a blood-haired killer with a greatsword, and Xiao Ze suspected Tang San.
• Xiao Ze sent thirty Title Douluo and five thousand Soul Engineers to hunt Tang San, and the forces found him near Yellow Dragon Mountain.
• The Soul Master forces trapped Tang San in a gorge and attacked him, but Ghost Leopard Douluo’s claim that Yu Xiaogang and Xiao Wu were dead sent Tang San into a killing frenzy.
• Asura God chose to keep Tang San alive as a means of testing Xiao Ze, and Tang San escaped the gorge after a burst of Blood Qi shattered the attackers’ assault.
